I have a virtual office. Which has a physical address, and an office space I can reserve to use whenever I need a locatiin to host meetings. They also forward me any mail my business receives. In setting up my LLC, can I serve as my own registered agent using my virtual office address?

You are so appreciated, Aiden! So sorry to hear about Rocky ❤. Ending his pain is incredibly unselfish and loving, though I know how much it hurt.
I have a question that I googled and couldn't find. If I'm providing a service through my LLC and the client is paying me as the LLC, am I able to request the payment be split between my LLC bank account and my personal bank account? I would want to split as a way of automatically receiving weekly or monthly owner withdrawal instead of logging in to the LLC account and initiating the weekly or monthly draw.

_If I'm providing a service through my LLC and the client is paying me as the LLC, am I able to request the payment be split between my LLC bank account and my personal bank account?_
I'm not a lawyer & I'm not a tax accountant, but from what I understand: no, you can't, and no, you shouldn't.
One easy way of doing it: The client should pay the LLC directly to the LLC's checking account, and you can take a distribution from the LLC's checking account to your personal checking account. Make sure your LLC's Operating Agreement specifies how often any such distributions can be made.
Another way: The client should pay the LLC directly to the LLC's checking account, and your LLC will pay you a salary via direct deposit from the LLC's checking account to your personal checking account, using a payroll system like ADP, Gusto, Paychex, Paycom, Square Payroll, etc. Again, make sure your LLC's Operating Agreement specifies how often your salary will be paid, and how much it is.

@@jalabi99 Thank you so much! That makes sense. I kinda felt like that was the case, but the convenience of having one less task to complete was making me waffle. I appreciate you! 🌟

Can you please talk about having more than 1 business or changing your business to something different than when created? My original business idea that I created LLC for isn’t proving to be working out. since I already have LLC and am considering another business, can I use same Llc?

If someone who did not own a trademark for a particular phrase ( of which no one else had a trademark ), on the front of a t-shirt for sale but placed a TM symbol next to that non-trademarked phrase, what are the exact legalities as to why that would be illegal? I know this is a strange question but I promise that there is a good reason for me to ask. Thank you.

The term "honest lawyer" makes me cringe. The job of a lawyer is to vigorously represent his or her client, but their main objective also includes making money for themselves just like any other profession. I had the misfortune of hiring some a-hole Silicon Valley lawyer who took my pleading, literally copy/pasted onto his template (which was created by some fresh-out-of-college girl down in LA area) and charged me $8,000 for it!!! On the other hand I also had another lawyer who is super smart, knew exactly what I needed, and got it done in less than half of what I thought I'd end up spending! So really, be VERY careful of lawyers in general but you do come across rare good ones every now and then.

Aiden, I want to use a name for my company, except it was used a long time ago by a different company that is no longer in business or filing. The name is copyrighted, but from my understanding had not been active?? Can I buy the name ?
