*Ohtani's legendary Records with the Dodgers:* - Set the franchise record for most home runs in a single season with 54 home runs - Achieved a 9.2 Offensive bWAR, the highest in Dodgers' history, surpassing Mike Piazza’s 9.0 mark in 1997 - Holds the franchise record for most RBIs in a single game with 10 RBIs (in the game he went 6-for-6 with 3 home runs, 5 XBH and 2 stolen bases) - Most XBH by a LA Dodger (99) - Recorded 10 straight games with an RBI - 411 total bases, setting a LA Dodgers record, surpassing Adrián Beltré’s 376 total bases in 2004 - Hit the most home runs in a single season at Dodgers' home games with 28 home runs - Achieved a 190 OPS+, the highest in a qualified season in Dodgers history, surpassing Mike Piazza’s 185 OPS+ in 1997 - Set a Dodgers record with 134 runs scored, leading the majors in this category - Posted a .646 slugging percentage, leading the NL and setting a new Dodgers record, surpassing Gary Sheffield’s .643 mark in 2000 - Led the Dodgers in all offensive categories in a single season Well deserved unanimous MVP.
His season, and he Dodgers was totally magical. The only thing that is bad and getting to me is it's so long till next season. That last month or so when you are hanging on every pitch-NFL and NBA- don't seem to have the meaning they used too. It just seems to be so over hyped and artificial in comparison.
MVP Shohei!!!! If it’s not obvious year one grade is A+++++ and even without pitching he still had historic year can’t wait to see him hitting again and pitching next year in dodger blue!!
If he carried in the World Series he would be the greatest of all time no debate. Instead he’s just the heavy favorite lol. But he had an incredible regular season carrying a team with a lot of injuries to the most wins in the league. Had 2 good postseason series and a mediocre World Series in his first postseason ever on a new team. Give him time and he will get there bc let’s not act like the dodgers won’t be back in the playoff and ohtani gonna give it his all as long as his body will let him
Dear Santa, what I want this Xmas: to have Shohei back on the mound and go 11-4 in 25 or so starts with a sub 3 ERA, hit 40 homers and steal 25 bases in '25. I know it's not much of a stretch, because he might do it anyway. 😀🤯
He deserved the MVP and I love Shohei but it wasn't his World Series. He was part of an ensemble that contributed. If Shohei could do it all by himself then the Angels would have done it, right?
THEY SAID WE DID NOT HAVE STARTING PITCHERS YET WE WON CUZ IT A TEAM GAME AND ALL 12 PITCHERS WHERE MVP INCLUDING HONEYWELL HE EAT UP INNINGS GIVING UP 5.RUNS BUT WE DID NOT HAVE.TO.WASTE ARM AND CUZ OF THAT WE WON. LOOK AT DA YANKEES WHEN I SAW WEAVER PITCH 2 INNING I KNEW HE WOULD NOT HAVE HIS BEST STUFF DA NEXT GAME AND HE WAS LIGHTS OUT FOR DA YANKEES
Since I see Snell playing games all day, I think it would be better not to buy it. Looking at the savant data, it seems expensive, but I wish he would go to another team for the higher price.

A 9 WAR season at DH is completely insane
Not to mention Ohtani was that close to the triple crown!

MVP! MVP! MVP!
The guy can't even pitch and he wins MVP as a DH. - WW
1st Shohei MVP: alone
2nd Shohei MVP: him & Decoy
3rd Shohei MVP: him, Mamiko & Decoy
4th Shohei MVP: him, Mamiko, Decoy & 1st baby
...
12th Shohei MVP: him, Mamiko, Decoy & 8 kids 🫡
😂😂
Can't wait to see Shohei Jr. playing in the field
As much as I agree that both Ohtani and Mamiko’s good genes ought to be preserved, yet you are making Mamiko basically a baby making machine 😂
imagine their 8 kids each making $1B (inflation adjusted) or more...
MVP x 3, more to come!
Thank you. I was saying that all along. No late game home run in game 1 and it could have changed everything. It was massively huge.
MVP 🏆
MVP
MVP!🎉
Congrats Shohei 3x unanimous MVPs. Second player in history to win AL and NL MVPs.
and also 2023 World Baseball Classic MVP😂
Will probably be the first to win multiple MVPs in both leagues.
Well spoken. Very fair and accurate.

The greatest Sho🦄💙🤴🥳🏆🍾🎉
MVP MVP
Big shout out to the owners group for opening their wallets and bringing over the now NL MVP 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Shohei carried the Dodgers while Freeman was out and Mookie broke his hand.
And Muncy was out for a while
Dodgers doesn't make it to the World Series without #17
Mvp mvp
Go Dodgers
An automatic A+++++++
A plus for the freaking goat.
This some S tier season for shohei.

Anybody who is disappointed in Ohtanis performance in the playoffs need to rewatch the NLDS
Shohei dedicated his life to baseball. No way in hell he would he throw it away in gambling.
💯
