the cerberus you could add a 2 button pedal switch into the expression input and assign some parameters to the footswitch.....does the trident do that?
Same! The Me-90 and/or the GX-100 have distinct advantages over this, with the utilization of the multi-function, built in exp pedal. We know Boss sounds killer and has really low latency...NuX is kind of an unknown.
I like the GX-100 I use it now with Tonex instead of hauling around my rack Axefx3 and floorboard. I also LOVED the cerberus and the the nux studio with the nux IR loader as 2 quck fly rig solutions. NUX makes some really good stuff. My problem with the Cerberus was that I was not confident in the USB plug. Rest of the build quality was excellent but that plug seemed very weak sauce. Now this isnt the cerberus but maybe not completely irrelevant as I have not seen the trident. That was the only NUX piece I had any concerns about. I think the company makes some really niche and excellent products. The sound quality and ease of use is there.
The presets from Pete Thorn, Leon Todd etc. still in the unit? For the money it’s sounds decent. But for a little over $100 more you can get the Ampero Stage II, which in my opinion has better editing options and a few more features, not to mention sounds killer as well. Especially with now having the ability to do captures. MUCH RESPECT! 🤘✌️
The Pete preset are indeed there. And I believe Leon’s are as well. I’ve not seen the Ampero so I can’t judge against it. I’ll check anything out though
@ Right on. Dig the channel. The Tiger stripe Kramer and Vola OZ videos are my favorites. Wish I could afford a Vola, especially since losing all my gear in a fire a few months ago. MUCH RESPECT! 🤘✌️
Nice review! 🙏

i've not experimented with or looked into it.
Nice review. I'm still torn between the Trident and ME-90.

To my hearing, Trident sounds better than MG-30 and GX-100, but less functionalities, am I wrong?
I know nothing about the MG30 or GX-100 so I couldn’t confirm nor deny anything
How is the assortment of stereo effects?... asking for a friend.
How good of a friend?
Looking at a manual on NUX site... Not a single fuzz ?
nope...I've reached out to them about things I want to see...of which fuzz is one.
@@SeanPierceJohnson Oh, and one more question - does it allow simple half- and whole-step down tune ? Thank you!
