I think people forget to let people play a game without the training wheels. Thats the beauty of replaying this series. Finding new things you missed the first time. Love watching different playthroughs. I definitely enjoyed this one a lot.

@@brycealthoff8092 boss? he is a hero who tried to saved us from the terrible ending XD (and even with the added endings, i still believe only the "red" one is real, the others mean shepard fell to indoctrination and didn't destroy the reapers. in arrival for example, the indoctrinated operative tries to justify what she is doing and deciding against stopping the reapers. and in me3 shepard gives in to indoctrination when not destroying them)

Forget what anyone says, you hit some amazing milestones on your first playthrough, curing the genophage, uniting the galaxy, ending war between Geth and Quarians, saving the Rachni. Getting the good ending with Legion is especially impressive, great job Lite. :)
I’m a grown man and this ending makes me tear up. That song is gut wrenching I couldn’t 100% this series until about the third or fourth play through. The beauty of a game about choices is it’s a unique experience for everyone. Really no right or wrong way to play

In a first playthrough of the Mass Effect franchise it is literally impossible to do and find everything, everywhere. Surely people have to understand that. I've played through the franchise loads of times and am still finding new things. And people have their own way of playing these games anyway. Ms Lite you did extremely well for your first playthrough and I'm sorry you've experienced such negativity from some folks. And a big thank you for finishing the game anyway, we love you. ❤

Way back in the Xbox 360 days, when I first saw the scene where the Fleet comes through the Relay, I definitely cried. Knowing that I - that Shepard - did that, rallying the might of the galaxy like that? It’s a big moment, worth the emotions.

Thank you so much for your first playthrough experience. It is very sad to hear that the Mass Effect community discouraged you in that way. The best thing to do is to not give them the attention. The best thing about this Trilogy is the replayability each playthrough gives you a little more I always hold it together and then when Joker stands up and wishes him good luck and instead gets a handshake I always lose it there. So hopefully on your own time you give it another playthrough and try different Dialogue options and have an even better experience. Again thank you very much. And welcome to the N7 family!!
The Mass Effect series has been a go to of mine and always enjoy watching another players/gamers reactions and playthroughs regardless of if they are good or bad so after watching along it's been really enjoyable seeing your reactions throughout the series well done and ignore the haters, never change or be put off by anyone else as long as you enjoy it everyone wins so thanks and good luck going forward.

What a run. I finally started playing ME last year after my then fiancé broke up with me and I was in a very dark, lonely place. Discovered your series soon after. The game helped me through that awful period in my life as did these videos. Thank you LiteWeight! ☺️

This comment literally is exactly what the outro was about. It’s a first playthrough, not a perfect walkthrough tutorial. This comment 100% comes off as toxic because “you didn’t do X to get the perfect outcome!”
If you want to see the perfect outcome for everything in this game, then watch a different video, or better yet, go play it yourself!
I was expecting the water works, I know how much you put into the series, I mean you had me tearing up. Shepard saved the galaxy, saved life, even in a way saved the Illusive Man’s soul, at the end. Most players that I know picked the destroy option, it hurts because you stopped a war between the Quarians and Geth, had deep relationships with EDI & Legion, and they were sacrificed, sucks!! Ms LiteWeight , thank you for playing and sharing your play through, I really enjoyed watching you pour your heart into Mass Effect, you remind me why I love the series. also, thank you for giving this series a chance! i, for one, loved seeing your adventures! the highs and the laughs, the lows and the tears, one of the best rides i've been on and i never tire of seeing people experience my favorite game franchise for the first time. as other people have said, i'm sorry that some of the fandom left such an unfortunate stain on the experience. but all this to say thank you for playing this. i can also recommend Andromeda! it had some problems at launch that have basically all been ironed out; it has a different vibe than this trilogy (in that it's less depressing and more lighthearted) but i also understand if you don't play it b/c you simply want a break from the franchise. looking forward to what's next!

I was waiting for the last vid of this playthrough I knew it would wreck you like it did to me 12 years ago no one can argue this is one of the most iconic series in the history of video games I've spent thousand of hours playing it since the first one was released back in 2007
I’m so sorry people haven’t even kind and didn’t learn the rule “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” This was a fantastic play through and I enjoyed watching from the beginning! This is my favorite series and I love watching other people experience it for the first time. Perfect play through the first time is impossible, and if they (like me) experienced it when the series first came out we had multiple times to play and fix any mistakes we made. But your gameplay was fun and engaging and I’ll reiterate that I’m sorry there were assholes in your comments! I’m glad I joined your community a few months ago!

This game is an end of an era to me. Never since I’ve enjoyed a story. It is indeed a Space Opera, a life-changing one for me.
- I loved your playthrough so much! I also think Destroy is the 'best' ending and you only get the scene where Shepard breathes if you reach a certain amount of war assets!
- I didn't play the trilogy myself until 2022 and I had a blast with it! After playing Starfield last year, it got me wanting to replay the trilogy so I played the 1st one just before Christmas last year and then I started looking to see if there were any creators who had done or was doing a playthrough of this trilogy and that's how I found your channel! I got round to finishing my ME3 replay at the start of May this year!
- Mass Effect 3 is my favourite ME game with ME2 being my least favourite which I know is an unpopular opinion!
- I hope we'll see Mass Effect Andromeda on your channel at some point in the future! I honestly really enjoyed it and its one of my top 2 ME games!
- I'm so sorry you experienced a lot of toxicity from certain fans of the franchise! It was noticeable to me when you were struggling in your videos regarding all that! Other games where I've seen creators receive a lot of toxicity, depending on their choices of course or if they missed something, is the 1st Life Is Strange game & Telltale Walking Dead Season 2 especially with what you choose at the end of Episode 5 involving Kenny and Jane!

Tears aside you barely said a word through most of this stream and I don't blame you at all, never have I felt such dread going into a mission as the assault on Earth.
Its been an honor commander, looking forward to the next series! if I could make a suggestion I would try Gears of War, starting with the remastered ultimate edition.
I watched the video until the end Lite and i get everything you said. The Mass Effect community is with you and we appreciate your first and unique experience. People are nasty when it comes to the things they love --- they want to replay the game through the eyes of new players, cause the game has affected them deeply to the point that, since they can't re experience their first playthrough they try to get the same thrill from other content creators. I hope that despite that, your journey into this amazing saga has created good and long lasting memories as it has for many of us.

yes! YES! Was so happy when you hit the Renegade prompt with Kai Leng, probably one of my favorite revenge moments in any game, especially "This is for Thane". That scene with Tali and Garrus is just them, one of the reasons I never really wanted to romance either of them in my play throughs...I think they work together. If you want to see the other endings there should be a save file called Restart Mission Citadel : The return. It starts you where you are struggling to the beam with just your pistol, still a ways to go but at least not everything over and just for yourself if you ever want to see. Thank you for your play through.

Apologize in advance for the book but you inspired me to say something. I have recently been watching a lot of first play throughs of Mass Effect. I want to re-experience the wonder I felt my first time playing and I can only do that through the eyes of others. I also am hoping to see unexpected results/dialogue I have never seen in my own many, many playthroughs. I cannot change how I perceive things in the game even when I try to force a different path so I tend to get the same results and dialogue. I have never; however, felt the need to try and control, direct or spoil someone else's playthrough as that defeats the purpose of watching. I have now watched first time videos where decisions were made and I was on the edge of my seat wondering if the writers wrote a way out for that path! These wonderful shortcuts or side steps helped me discover even more about the game I love. I also heard tons of dialogue I never heard before. That is the beauty of real first time playthroughs and if most were honest, they would admit they too really wanted to see the unexpected and not some cookie cutter playthrough.
My first playthrough was a total mess as I did it without using any guides or watching videos but I still had fun. We didn't really have guides way back then or even a lot of experience with these type of games lol. You did much better than me so be proud! Since my first run, I have tried out all kinds of different ways of playing, including the different classes and even trying to force myself to go renegade when I am a hard-core paragon. It all was a ton of fun. I definitely have gotten my money's worth out of this game.
Andromeda is a let down after the original. Decisions mean pretty much nothing and even for the few where it means something, they force you to do things you would never do in order to get a better result. Not happy with that. I can happily live with my decisions but not when the only other option that the game rewards as the best one was horrific. The character development is not there either so you never feel anything more than a pat on head attitude for the others around you and the face animations are sad. Your squad mates just stare at you while you stand at terminals doing the busy work the game gives you. It is creepy to say the least. If you play this, do so for the combat (which is great), numerous quests and interesting worlds and not for character development or romance. Then it will be fun. Kind of like playing a very long COD single player instead of a ME game. That is how I play it now.
I am sorry that what you and your husband will take away from this wonderful series is the toxicity you saw from some in chat. The behavior online from some these days is just brazen. I do hope you know that is not a representation of the true Mass Effect community. As always polite society tends to stay quiet and avoid conflict while the asshats with the benefit of being anonymous, run rampant. I see 1,000 likes on this video and not 1,000 people commenting so you can likely guess those folks enjoyed the video and felt no need to criticize you. I wish there was a way to fix it but social media is heading for the dumpster because of these out of control keyboard warriors. You might want to in future just take the trash out when you have posters who will not listen and it becomes clear their only purpose is to disrupt.
I feel bad for the idiots that couldn't enjoy these playthroughs of the ME games! They were so damn good! The game play was great and, as always with LWG, the immersion into the games made the reactions elite!
I mean bad playing can be REALLY annoying to see. Especially on RPGs like genre. If people don't want criticism then don't post your play through on UA-cam, you know, an open platform?
@@CYB3R2K You need to go back and watch her closing statements about the community again. Really watch it, and understand you are one of the types of people she is talking to. Maybe watch it 5 more times to be sure. Really actually pay attention to it, and change how you interact with people.
@@CYB3R2K Making different choices than someone else doesn't equal "bad playing"! Isn't the point of giving choices in a game to allow everyone to play as they want to play? And it's stupid to act like someone playing a game for the first time should know everything like someone who has played it 10 times, watched a bunch of videos and read a lot about the secrets of the game!
Also, if you have any sense, you would stop watching something that annoys you. You wouldn't keep watching it and then waste more of your time bitching about it!

I discovered your channel a couple weeks ago due to some suggested stuff from the algorithm…I don’t usually watch many streamers, but I like seeing good ones. I stuck with most of your playthroughs because of your emotional responses.
Seeing your tears and real emotions is why people watch. Don’t be embarrassed. People are watching you for those emotional responses. When I played mass effect 3 for the first time, I cried, multiple times. I’ve really enjoyed seeing those heartfelt feelings. Especially your love for your baby, Grunt. And knowing you’re a real mom makes that even more special.
I’ve been looking forward to your reaction to the ending. Hopefully you’ll continue with some emotional games in the future. I’d suggest the Persona series, starting with Persona 3 Reload. Thank you! It’s been a good journey.

The first time you experience the ending, it always gets you!
So, a small hobby I’ve fallen into is watching multiple creators play through this game (I just can’t get enough of Mass Effect as a longtime fan of years and years), and so I’ve watched MANY creators do a blind play through and each every one in their own unique and special way, which I appreciated so much, whether I agreed with their play style or not.
I almost NEVER make comments on UA-cam, the internet is toxic enough, it doesn’t need my two cents on top of it all, but I noticed when watching this video today that you just finished this series yesterday, and so I want you to know, if it makes any sort of difference that I appreciate so much that you trucked through this series. I hope I speak for the people who love this game and aren’t riddled with un-managed anxiety that we’ve struggled with something of a toxic (especially on the internet) community for some time (don’t get me started on how terrible people can be when you try to tell them that you didn’t mind the ending all that much), and it’s creators like you that keep us passionate about this series and the future of Mass Effect.

I found your channel looking for mass effect first playthroughs, so I whached all your journey from me1, because as a fan myself, I love to see other people reacting to my favorite game and also because I love seeing others experiencing the emo8i felt playing this for the first time. For me mass effect is a place where I can go with my immagination and dream and I'd love for others to be it that way to. This is why I am deeply sorry you had to endure such comments that may have soured your journey through this beautiful universe that is mass effect. I hope in spite of everything that playing this game gave you something, all the emotions the challenges and the choices. Unfortunately some people can't appreciate others making their own choices... My first playthrough was horrible I got a lot of people killed but still it's mine and after playing it other times I saw the beauty of the "perfect playthrough", but always remember the first time I played. That's why I think people should let others do their thing without judgment. It's a bit like life, we get to live our life for the first time and we shouldn't judge the mistakes of others and ruining their experience.
That's why if you ever decide to play mass effect Andromeda even if it might be bad or not as great as the trilogy think it's worth a try, so you can judge yourself.

@LiteWeightGaming I hope you do play Andromeda, And make your own mind up about it, Personally i really enjoyed it, Maybe that's because i wasn't trying to constantly compare it to the OG ME trilogy & just took & enjoyed it for itself. But i would sadly have to recommend not doing a playthrough on UA-cam though, For as much as I've enjoyed your trilogy playthrough, And would love to see you play Andromeda, It would probably be even worse in the comments, As you'd not only get people criticising your decisions, But also those who would pop in to the comments just to insult the game, You for playing it and everyone who were enjoying it.. 😮😢

I finished the ending a couple days ago, and I wish I could get as emotional as you, cause I was honestly smiling at the end instead of crying. I bet it was very hard for you. But it was well worth it. So happy you enjoyed this amazing sci-fi trilogy. It hits hard in all the right places. Characters, story, world building, all of the choices to make. I loved watching you play this game. I've gone through many playthroughs on this series, really enjoy them. ME:3 is by far one of the most emotional rolleercoaster games I've ever played or seen played.
This finale really left me depressed and in a good way.

Great playthrough Lite, I'm sorry people treated you so badly throughout. I totally agree with your sentiment that getting a fully happy ending wouldn't really make sense. I like that the destroy ending has a big cost to it, because this is a galactic extinction event, you don't beat that without some major casualties. I feel it would feel a little too cheap if everything just pretty much worked out for the best. When I got to that decision point, when the game first released, I figured it would be a bit of a betrayal of everyone I lost along the way to not end the reapers once and for all. My Shepherd figured the survivors can hate him for his choice if that's how they feel, but they'll be hating him from a reaper-free universe.

I know you hinted at it from time to time, but it saddens me you found so many voices making itnhard for you ... and you don't need to apologise, especially a game like this there is no "perfect" way to play it, except to play what feels like the right choice for you - because that's the point.
I hate how gate keepery fans can get in big franchises, because you are right if new potential fans are pushed away, that is how a franchise dies.

Hey Lite, just finished watching the video (couldn’t quite watch all the way through the premiere 😭) and I just want to say that as someone who has played through the trilogy, you did a *really* good job. Not because you tried to be ‘perfect’ but because you gave us your authentic reactions.
I could easily tell that this was your very first play through just from seeing you react to all the decisions you had to make and everything that happened during each game.
I won’t lie… seeing you tear up during certain scenes kinda made me cry as well because that was exactly how I felt when *I* played through the trilogy and it almost felt like I was there with you during your journey 🥲.
After listening to what you said at the end, about how people in the community treated you, I am also very disappointed. I play other games and franchises like Halo (Halo will forever be my heart 🙂↕️🫶) and Fallout, to name a few. Unfortunately those communities aren’t very different from Mass Effect in terms of toxicity and gatekeeping.
I honestly wouldn’t blame anyone if they didn’t want to broadcast these certain types of games and it hurts me when people feel the need to put others down just because they enjoy something differently. It just… sucks. I’m sorry that these people worsened your experience with the games and I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said on the subject.
To close this off, I just wanna say that out of every person I’ve watched who has played through the trilogy, I think you were probably my favourite 🥹.

Great playthrough to the end. I'm sorry you had such a rough experience and I'm glad you called people out on it. It's so heartbreaking when fans act this way. It's like Lennie crushing the mouse in Of Mice and Men. Folks let their enthusiasm overwhelm them and absolutely ruin the thing they (and I!) love for other people, and it makes me so sad.

I've watched another couple of creators play through the trilogy, and they also made different choices to the ones I made on my first play, and you know what, it was amazing. This was *your* story. People can go and play it themselves if they want their own
story.

What a journey its been. Great series and even though 3 has its flaws its a fantastic game that makes you ponder about life and humanity in general like what the future holds for us... For instance maybe some day years from now your little girl will continue on with your channel, going on those same journeys of awesome storytelling like her mother before her. I've glad i came across your channel, you are an absolute sweetheart and a pure soul. The world can be a bery dark place sometimes so thank you for being a shining light and for the escapism... Also, sucks you had a negative experience from some Assholes but honestly just push them to the back of your mind and make the journey your own and not theirs, maybe easier said than done but folk like that are in the minority of viewers
I am so glad to hear you enjoyed and love this series. It has always been one of my favorites. I only watched a few of your episodes but what I love about your playthrough is the emotion you show and experience. That emotion shows how immersive and genuine this playthrough was and what made it enjoyable to watch. I am sorry to hear about others making it hard for you to finish this run but you did it despite the toxicity and that makes you a true N7. Overcoming all obstacles and challenges. If you decide to play Andromeda keep in mind most of the negativity is focused around the amount of bugs on its release and well lets face it the story is blah. The playstyle, mechanics and character progression is really the best of the series with the addition of jump jets to your armor. I will say again the story is in no way as compelling as the Shepard trilogy but if you enjoy the playstyle is worth playing.
