Making the Gel Plate Revisit, what I did wrong.

The gel plates I made last April are not behaving as I had hoped. After talking to a friend of mine, I realized I never covered mine so they had dried out, also, the ratio of gelatin vs water is different.
New Recipe:
1 cup of water
3 1/2 envelopes of gelatin (24 grams)
Note that I did not use glycerin in this recipe.
Make the amount you need and pour in your pan/container.
Wait ill the next day and carefully extract from the pan.
Store this in the fridge.
I did cut up my old gel plates in chucks, put them in the pan to melt and added water to dilute until I had the right consistency.
This took a few times, every time testing out the new plate to see if it worked, if not, melt again with added water to dilute further.
