Do you have holster that will fit the p365 axg legion with the foxtrot2r? I’m not having luck with ANY holster made for the macro or with a tlr7. It looks like the foxtrot2r is a bit wider then the tlr7 and the rail on the axg is wider then the macro. I’m hoping to get one to work with.

Another great review Shan. I look forward to hearing your long term review of the Foxtrot2R. When I bought my Sig P320 X-Carry in 2019, Werkz was the only manufacturer that supported my pistol and the Olight PL-Mini Valkyrie 2 light I choose to run. I've been a dedicated Werkz customer since and look forward to new products as well as news, information and product reviews you, Jamison and the crew put out.
Randy, sorry for the slow response. Love having you as a familiar customer. I'm glad we can provide content that is valuable for you and the rest of the 2A community.
I know im kind of late to the game seeing how I asked specifically for this review, but thank you! You're the #1 source I trust for light reviews because you actually give lumen/candela specs that you've found in your personal testing and dont just read the manufacturers' spec sheets. The only reservation that I have about this light at all now is potential build durability with the mounting screw being seemingly easy to strip out, but there's really no way to know how it will fare the real world without people using it in the real world. If they made the exact same light but out of aluminum it would be top dog in the compact pistol world (at least until cloud defensive release their lineup of pistol lights if they ever do at this point) Looking forward to finishing my xMacro build with this light and putting it in one of your holsters and giving it some real world "testing"
Thank you. I am now a huge fan of the Foxtrot2r. I have one on my P01, and I am ordering one for my WC. This light fits both firearms perfectly. I love the output. Will be ordering a new holster for the WC soon.
I have had one for a few weeks now. I like it a lot. My one gripe is the adapters. The 1913 adapter puts the rail section at the back because that works for SIGs. However, if you are using a Gen 5 Glock, Staccato, etc that has one rail slot up front it doesn’t work. You can use the Universal mount that does put the slot up front, but it’s thinner and there’s slack and the light can move somewhat. What’s obnoxious is if you take the rail mount off, it should be able to be reversed because it will fit in the light the other way. However, there’s a radius on the bottom to account for the curve of the light body, and that radius is only on one side. Without that radius the metal screw can’t go through the adapter all the way. I found if I took a Dremel I could make my own radius in the rail adapter, meaning I could flip it back to front. This way you can have the 1913 rail section at practically any position you want when you couple that with the fact that the position can adjust slightly by design. It’s sort of unfortunate that SIG didn’t think of this as it would be easier to make as part of the injection mold and would make the light more usable across non-SIG products.
I’ve been waiting for this. I am switching my department to G45 MOS handguns and want a compact light to take advantage of the new Rapid Force duty holsters for guns with compact lights. This appears to be suitable for duty use, unlike the TLR7. I’d love to have concealment holsters available for the G45/G19 series.
@@TommyTombstoneI don’t disagree. However a full sized light requires a larger opening in the holster. I have 2 officers using the Rapid Force designed for full sized lights. It’s not hard to get a finger inside the holster and on the trigger. If I can reduce that weakness with a smaller light while retaining performance I want to explore that.
@@MichaelTravis12c27 John from PHLSTER famously said "what are you simulating by taking a fair amount of time and effort, in controlled conditions, to force a finger in there and maybe pull the trigger? What are you accomplishing?"
Good honesty about the run time drop off , I just need a light that locks off for a safe , many lights turn on too easy, melt down and burn out in safe, good mention for lefties as well, holsters that auto on and off or just auto off the light are pretty cool
This looks like a great light, and I may have to give it a go on my Arex Delta M Gen 2. Been running the Inforce Wild 1 on it, but this with two rechargeable sounds like a great deal!
Awesome review. And I just looked on the website and you guys have the holster listed 👍(when you did the shorter video the site wasn't yet showing a holster for the Macro withe the foxtrot2R)
I'd love to get this on my g19.5. Sometimes on the farm I need a little more push than I get with the tlr7a. I carry a strong handheld that I can go to but I find myself wanting more on the 19.
Will this fit on a Sig p229 legion? Weird that its a Sig light, that can fit compact pistols, yet NOWHERE online can you find anyone pairing a foxtrot2 with a p229
Amazing. We always knew advancements would come and eventually the 7sub would be eclipsed, but 4ish times the candela while having better spill and more consistent higher lumen output within 8ish minutes, if I'm reading those charts right? That's pretty damned impressive. Now we just need to see how she does in longer-term use tests and durability stuff. I'm not quick to be optimistic given Sig's track record but they usually do pretty substantial improvements on gen 2-3 and onward on products. As someone who loves his tlr1-hl dearly and laments having to go down to compact lights, this is now on my short list of things to try out. I don't mind getting another Werkz m6, I've liked mine well enough (I really wish y'all would offer dcc clips though, I've found them significantly better than the standard plastic clips incuded) to get a second one if I like the light performance.
SA Echelon is my new potential daily carry gun and I would love to see a holster for the E with this light. I currently have one of your holsters for my Hellcat Pro with TLR-7 Sub which I LOVE.
I think it's great if they have all these different lights that are creating competition and improving the entire industry. If it had a mix of both the foxtrot and the streamlights run time, that would be great
i have a suggestion. every time you test lights for their output and run time, you only test it being constantly on until the battery dies, right? when you leave it constantly running it's going to power down to prevent overheating. it would be nice to see how the light performs when turned on periodically. i imagine if you did the foxtrot at say 5 or 10 minute intervals it would probably keep up the 500+ lumens for much longer over the battery's life.
I like the suggestion. Yes, that would reduce thermal throttling. I used to perform a similar test for output consistency (one minute on, then one off, for ten cycles), but it was rather time intensive, and I'm not sure people were that interested. Thoughts?
I think that would be a good test particularly for this light. Considering that one of it's biggest weaknesses is the constant run time. That being said, I wouldn't want to sit around turning on and off lights for an hour either lol Great work as always, keep it up! @@WerkzHolsters
@@WerkzHolsters Yeah, this would be extremely valuable to me! Based on the comments, I appear to be the only one turned off by the sudden and drastic drop in output, especially by the 14 min mark! I think I'd rather have the consistency of the TLR. If the dramatic drop is due to thermal throttling, and the average lumen output over the life of the battery is more consistent, I'd be more inclined to consider the FT2R. I'm more likely to use this light in short multi-minute bursts, than a constant on for an hour. Maybe a test in 3-4 min intervals? Thank you for your content!
I like the Foxtrot2R as well, however… I EDC a XTEN Comp, and the Foxtrot2R’s clamping mechanism strips out within two magazines fired! Not having a p365 version is a bummer
Yeah, rail mount only.
Q2 2024 update - Sig seems to have completely killed production of this light as it's been OOS across the interwebs for months now. Such a shame as it's an incredible little light.
Man I wish it was shorter. Tlr7 is the longest I can go with p320 xcompact.
Just let it hang over a little bit... :)
Thanks for this! It basically confirms all my suspicions. I have also put the TLR-7 Sub away and carry the Foxtrot2R. Can't wait to get one of your presicion Holsters.

I’m in the market for an AIWB holster for my new “XTEN Comp.” With that, I’m looking for a small light to put on it - a 7A or something similar to keep it flush with the muzzle or less. I don’t want to put a larger/longer light on it as then I’d keep carrying my original XTEN with the TLR1-HL.
This light on an FN 509T Compact and Mid...
Preferably in FDE or Coyote...
Vs tlr7 hl!!!
🧐 🤔
And of course it doesn't fit the p365's and there's no adapter 🙄
I'm not impressed with the attachment on 7 sub, comes loose every box of ammo
Interesting I've not seen that on ours.
@WerkzHolsters is what it is I suppose
What's with the annoying distracting background noise that doesn't add anything to the review information?
Terrible Background music. Had to stop viewing this video because of it.
Thanks for the feedback.
My friend Rafael Castrillo is a tlr sub fanboi. He is crying right now watching this video 😭
I have been, and continue to be, in favor of the TLR-7Sub. Though it's not got the candela of the F2R, it has much wider holster availability.
Need a holster for the p365 axg legion with the foxtrot 2r! Axg legion does NOT fit in x macro holsters as sig said they do.
