@@frazmeup trans service isnt hard at all, I did mine at 100k not sure if it was done previously. Seen typical wear from break in on the magnets nothing major. I used Liquimoly atf.
@@BurrNinja I've been watching videos on the trans service, jacks are a must? Seems hard without them. I have ramps. Its a white M sport, I love it but I feel like it wont be reliable after 30k miles or so. I've done oil housing gasket and cooler seals. Changed one turbo sensor as it was losing boost and giving me horrible mpg. Changed all brake pads, changed all coils, spark plugs. One owner before me, purchased at 50k miles. Now im thinking of getting walnut blasting done on the intake valves.
@@frazmeup Yeah, I had to put the car through some of the gears to get the fluid throughout the system. 3 years now on my car and still basic maintenance. 108k miles.
why dinan? Im looking for a stage 1 tune without sacrificing the life of my engine. Was even thinking VRSF intercooler meant for stage 2 to be used at stage 1 with MHD
Looking for a 2014-2016 bmw 550i I currently have an 08 550i are the new V8’s reliable cause mine has been and it has 175k miles had been my daily for the past 7 years
I’ve seen reliability ratings on the 550i 3 out of 5 stars but I think it really comes down to how the car is cared for. That goes for any car. Proper maintenance and service! I have the 535i and has been a solid vehicle for me.
I’ve had my 2016 535 m sport fully loaded for a year too. Awesome car. I was looking at the race chip but I was scared to put it in. I was going to get the entry level chip. Which one did you get?
500 Likes There you go. I just gave you 500 Likes. 😂 FYI: Kassel Performance in York has a Dyno and they are still open even with the epidemic. They are also a BMW shop.
I have the same car, yes the throttle takes a second before it takes off but when it does it goes very fast i got used to it i love my 2012 535 i m package
This is common in anything not an M. After upgrading exhaust, intake, downpipe and tune, there was a big improvement. Will be doing intercooler and going stage 2 tune soon.
Im in the market to buy a 535i, i’ve seen some that have really high milage, above 100k. Would you recommend buying one of those? And also what should I keep in mind when buying
I would stay away from the higher mileage models. Make sure you buy from a reputable dealer. Not sure what your budget is but if I could do over again, I would have went M5 or M4
a fully loaded 540i (G30) xDrive w/ M Sport package is not exactly affordable at this point....especially a CPO vehicle from an authorized dealer. A friend was looking at the 17-18 CPO model years...priced between $43k-$62k though.
It feels good, im on my 2 year so far, running strong! Keeping up with maintenance is key, to ANY car.
Im contemplating selling it, only has 60k miles and all maintenance done. Needs trans service. 2014 535xi

Car looks great! How many miles on it, have you ever had any issues?
Think it was 70k miles on it when we sold it. Never had an issue besides the headlight module. We did a replacement video on it
I'm pretty sure it's a zf 8 speed? Correct me if I'm wrong
happy anniversary i have a 16 f10 n55 msport as well
Can't wait to see the charge pipe and downpipe install video! I've been meaning to install mine for a while now.
I second the downpipe install
Congrats, better to give anniversary gift to cars than wife’s LOL

I advise you to either keep that e60 or go N63TU 2015+ otherwise you’re asking for a nightmare.

Looking to get a 2016 535, how reliable is it ?
Sofiane S had it for two years haven’t had any issues as of yet.

Nice vid. Where did you get the body color license plate mount?
I wrapped it with vinyl
@ThicGarage alright thanks!
Nice car !
What kind of coil overs are you on? I’m looking for some affordable coil overs for my 2013 535 bmw awd
Okay jus finished the video silvers neo max how they run close to Oem?
No comparison to my OEM. Ride and handling are much better.
Nice vid bro!
Great video 👍🏻
Hey i have the same car.. do you have any issues with the adaptive suspension??
Mine doesn’t have adaptive suspension
Have you done a transmission service yet?
Not yet
ThicGarage what is your mileage at? And when would you recommend doing it
Should be done every 50k but was done when I first purchased
IM so sorry, but last comment.... Did you get the silvers nomax directly from their website
Yes I did order from their website directly.
@@ThicGarage You're the best bro !
one question, why was throttle response laggy ? ever fixed it ?

Is your Bmw awd or rwd
AWD

Whats a left kit ??
Lift kit?
Sell it. Find a nice low mileage CPO 540i and spend your money on that platform instead.

Yeah Um it’s a nice car but not nice enough for a channel
