Nice driving . Aggressive moves sure, but not overly. He must have known you were there and he gave you enough room to do it ,so his fault if he didn't want to be passed he should have covered his position.
You would get black flagged for under braking everyone that aggressively here in UK . It's not a race day but a track day , safety comes 1st . But my personal opinion is , you're just being a more committed driver than others . Great work .
Thanks for coment, it was TT competition. Time trial so we all try to set fastest lap possible but those guys were braking too early and I figured I will have to clear them to be able to set my time. Also here in advance group during track days passing is open but with care of course .
That looked to be a bit of a dive bomb. I’m guessing you rattled him a bit when you were there all of a sudden as he was about to pull the trigger on turn in. Still, I appreciate the frustration you must have been feeling having had a difficult time finding space for a fast lap.
@@driver46 looked to be a difficult track for an MX-5. Most cars would pull on you around the oval section and you'd be back on their bumper inside of two more turns. Couldn't have been easy to find space for a good lap.
Is that the CAE shifter? I would be interested in hearing your feedback as there is little information out there on that particular kit for NCs. I have a caged 2.5 NC and am looking to reduce shifter slop from the 6 speed.
Hi , it is CAE . So it is precise and very stiff to operate , it has one softer setting but I didn't try it yet . I think that limitation is in Mazda's transmission when it comes to fast shifting. I tried stock , Cobalt and CAE but if you try to shift really fast with any of those it will grind or miss the gear 3 times out of 5 . Shifting much faster in other cars like BMW or S2000 and everything I smooth and you can do it as fast as possible without any problems. I can't say if shift time is little bit shorter than stock( Because I didn't really measure those times )but definately not fast as I wanted to be , it is much more precise than stock or Cobalt.
Well, since it is hpde you could argue that you were a little aggressive passing going into the corner instead of waiting for a point by. Especially when passing the nd. It seemed like a last second call. By the way do you have any plans for w2w?
It wasn't really HPDE it was TT competition. I agree for ND, I did left him all the room on the outside for exit tho . To me it was funny that guy in 77 M3 said he didn't see me while I was behind him for full lap and he was only guy complaining all other drivers were alright with overtakes . Thanks for coment .

Nice job dude, that BMW driver was just being sensitive... that was a great pass. Keep sending it!!
And the beemer drivers were overtaken by their egos 😄 nice job dude, some weird shifts in places but a lot of spirit 🤩
I enjoy watching you drive man. Awesome driver in such a great platform. Thanks for the vid...
Nice lap time gain!

Love watching these. Is this a 6spd?
Thanks, yes it is 6sp
Thanks for another awesome video! What shocks are you running and would you recommend them for track mainly use?
MCS those are made in USA and so far worked great , lot of hard core racers are using them in NASA championship .

I agree with you assessment, I just didn't understand his lack of awareness considering how long he could see me in his mirrors.

Nice run bro.
I dont think any passes were aggressive.

That's my idol 👍
@@driver46 Noticed the sticker and wanted to comment on passing the BMW haha. Great driving!

I disagree, they are racing so I say freaking send it. If it was HPDE then yes... but in this case you are out there to win.
