Kwahu is a beautiful part of the Eastern Region in Ghana. Its very popular around Easter time for people to saturate this part of Ghana. Activities you will find here around this time of the year includes; paragliding, hiking, carnivals and street jams. For Kwahu people, it is an annual homecoming, but for holiday travellers it is an occasion for celebrations. There are also performances by various artists. In this video, i am on a road trip to explore Kwahu and all the activities it comes with during Easter.
Come enjoy Kwahu Easter with me.

My name is Jasmine and I have relocated from Sydney Australia to Ghana in west Africa as of the year 2020.
My parents are of Ghanaian descent and so am I although I was born in Australia. Here on my channel, my goal is to give you a real glimpse into what it’s like to live in Ghana, from the Ghanaian food, to the Ghanaian culture, to the Ghanaian lifestyle and everything in between. My goal is to satisfy your curiosity about Ghana and help inspire to explore Ghana.
My prayer is that these videos do just that for several African’s in the diaspora.
Follow your bliss because life is short, follow your bliss because human life has no intrinsic value, follow your bliss because everything happens for the greater good and follow your bliss because it has all happened before.
Kwehu people the language they understand better is business, they would sell you anything that needs to be sold. They hate poverty to the core, and they have done very well for themselves and their families. I like their spirit of entrepreneurship.
They really do.. ❤️
Ghana is such a great country
Thank you Jasmine, you have truly explained it all. Now understand Kwahu Easter better. Wondered what it was all about.

Kwahu travel and tourism coming soon
Ty for the videos and everything. I am going to Ghana this summer to stay with my aunty. Very excited but want to know what to expect. (I'm Cameroonian and Congolese but my aunt lives in Ghana). But chai is it more of a celebration/time for fun there than a time to celebrate and thank God for the sacrifice He made and because Jesus rose from the dead? That's the whole point of Easter, is it different there?
I really enjoyed my stay in Rock City last year when I visited. The food was on point for me
Thats great. I think they were not prepared for the number of people who came. On a regular day its fine
@@JasmineAmaa I see
Thanks for sharing

Jasmine! I see you had a GOOD time! Next time you might want to bring one of your girlfriends to SHARE in the experience! Yeah!

One other thing Kwahu citizens do when they go home for Easter is they do development projects for their towns.
Really good to hear

❤️❤️
Awesome video ❤
❤️
It is the largest basement club in the world: 2,000 capacity.
It’s beautiful
I think I know you. Did you go to Motown for your secondary school?
Yess right before i left Ghana x
Grt vid ❤️
Thanks 💕
I hear that Rock City Hotel is the biggest hotel in Africa but yet it still fills up pretty quickly during the Easter festivities and u have to even book months ahead of the festival, anyway how true is that and I didn't see u showcase the price of the hotel so how much is the hotel rooms per night or how much for the booking
That's true.
Id share a video on it x
❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful 😊
❤️
😍😍😍
❤️❤️
🖤👍🏿👍🏿
I thought you were in the Down side. When did you get back
Tafo koforidu?
Someone loves her fufu 😅yet she is not putting on weight
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I saw the president motorcade 😂
Yesoo he came to enjoy
Ghanafuo party after party. Eerie ghana dey sweet well'oo
Only if you've got money
Lool so true
Thanks for sharing but I get a sense that the experience wasn’t that great as you expected. I’ve heard the same from people who’ve been before. It seems Kwahu Easter is overhyped.
I didn’t realize it was all night time stuff xx
Kwahu Easter is not overhyped.
Over hyped is a big word. Lots of good stuff happens at kwahu. There's paragliding, ONLY spot in Ghana and i think west Africa it happens.
The kwahu location, on a ridge is a big draw. The experience of ascending that ridge is a big draw.
The big kwahu houses, rock city etc and other tourism offerings of kwahu are all big draws
What needs improving would be offering varieties of entertainment, creating lots of daytime entertainment, improving the roads/infrastructure, all foods sold at the party grounds should be delicious etc
Why won't these people abandon the colonizers traditions?
Pure extortion
How can you tell me this nonfa food be 150 cedis lol
This is own by a politician who is suppose to make things nice for people to enjoy but slow
Lol i was disappointed
@@JasmineAmaa is too bad Obaapa
People should complain to management about the food so they improve
