Great video as always, I have always had corns and its because my soccer cleats have a terrible tapering toe box, I wish there were healthier alternatives for soccer cleats.

Dr. McClanahan, I have a real problem on the bottom corner of my left foot about an inch from the little toe. It grows a core and occasionally I cut it off. If I push on this spot it really hurts and it can be painful to walk. The only thing that seems to help is an ionic foot spa which brings up the core more and I can trim it down. I've gotten the core out completely before but it comes back. I also have two corns on that little toe that cause me grief. The latest thing that has never happened before is the skin between the little and 4th toe at the base cracked. My husband said he thought it was caused by fungus. So If I can spread my toes out you think that will help and a foot specialist thought the one on the bottom is caused by rigid arch supports so I've transitioned into lower ones until I can get out of them. I wore the rigid ones for 38 years or so. Do you have any suggestions for me?

Having a small budget for shoes and most shoes made in China I find it very hard to get a wide enough shoe from china since they make everything smaller for the U.S than it used to be 20 years ago.

Hi Gary! It can feel hard to find shoes that feel wide enough, but there are definitely options out there! If you've tried Lems and Altras and still found them too narrow, try a custom Xero Sandal: xeroshoes.com/shop/custom-made-xero-shoes/custom/. They're fairly inexpensive and perfect for the summer! Alternatively, you could also check out custom shoes by Softstar--their wide sizing is pretty generous! You can check out their sizing guide and more details here: www.softstarshoes.com/custom-adult-dash-runamoc-visualizer.html.

That’s exactly what I have going on right now. As a surgical nurse, I have to be on my feet for hours. I’m guessing that’s how I got it :/
