    On the topic of fructose, I wouldn't say it makes you fat but it increases triglycerides and is preferentially stored in the liver over muscles. If the opportunity cost of fructose is more glucose then avoiding fructose makes sense since you will end up with more muscle glycogen which will eventually lead to a better p ratio. Obviously, it wouldn't be bad in moderation but in terms of what's optimal, I wouldn't say that consuming it is.

    • @anabolicbodybuilding
      @anabolicbodybuilding  3 місяці тому +1

      The amount of fructose in most fruit is actually pretty low. For example, a typical banana has like 25 grams of carbs and 7 of that is fructose. OJ is something like 2 grams of sucrose to 1 gram of fructose.

    Why do bodybuilders seem to always eat exclusively rice as a starch source instead of wheat products like bread, cream of wheat, or pretzels?

    • @anabolicbodybuilding

    Great bit on the satiation of fats. They have never made me feel full. I think thats the problem with carnivore. They say fat will make you full. When in reality, jts the fact that meat takes longer to digest and is packed with protein despite the fat content. That then gets misconstrueded so everyone just views it as all fats of any kind make you full. No. Also just got to the part where you mentioned Texas Roadhouse, I'm trying to find a place to go with my girlfriend at least once a week and that is definitely on the list.
