Hi, after replacing the encoder - everything "seems" to works. But there is slightly difference between the original 30ppr wheel and the replacement. Can't make it calibrated. Wheel calibrate itself just fine, but within the software - I can't set up correct rotation. When I do, then it start to behave weirdly. Turn right to the max position -> ok, turn left to the max position -> ok, next turn right -> ok, next turn again to the left -> position is little bit different (smaller) than previous turn. When you rotate with the wheel right to left between furthest positions, the left position is smaller with each turn. So you'll end up with wheel rotating only in small portion. Don't know how to describe it well. With 60ppr wheel - it is weird even more. With 30ppr it behave like I described. Seems like the geometry/groves/holes in the 3d printed wheel needs to be precise(?) I'm trying to print different versions - 30 holes but different size variations.
Another great video, but the links in your description is broken :P Also, how did you manage to damage the motor, what happened to it? Is fitting a bearing at the end of the motor required for this installment (as mentioned in the belt mod video)?
Thank you Medek, I changed original brushes. Old brushes was more effective but nearly finished. Motor came back from dead. :) Realy, I wasn't expected, It will work again.
