  • Get yourself an Audiofuse 8 Pre Here:- hoppole.co/Audi...
The new Arturia Audiofuse 8Pre is their higher end entry into the interface market, and it's made quite a splash. It's both an 8-channel ADAT preamp bank (with 8 channels of DAC as well), or at the push of a button, it's a USB audio interface.
    UPDATE:- it's 699 Euros, not 799!
The Arturia FX Collection is included as well, with classic preamps, filters and delays which adds to the value.

I thoroughly enjoyed your video: the top notch quality of cinematography and the way you went in depth about the unit, not leaving a single detail out. I had my eyes on a Presonus Quantum 2626, but you may have just swayed me in the direction of the Arturia slightly.

Nice review by the way but just want to help with your videos. I think you should cut the parts where you not saying anything and trying to get your thoughts together. It's a little hard to watch when you keep taking a break in between what you're saying. The video will flow better and just have a better feel to it if you do. Just like in recording how you cut dead space from vocals do the same with your videos. And the video will be much better and higher production value. Keep up the good work man.

Thanks for the input, but I’ve made a conscious decision not to go for the super-slick editing style as it doesn’t reflect my intentions- I prefer a style that comes across more human and honest. It also helps to pace delivery without being information overload - it’s not a TV broadcast designed to hook the viewer every second, and I don’t want to become overloading in very technical content. I’ve been working in media for over a decade, and I can make slick cuts if I wish, it’s just not how I want to come across.

@@adamsteelproducer Your missing the point of what I'm saying tho. I'm not saying go over crazy with like some vlog channel of jake paul. you can do small cuts just to help move the video alone. you want people to watch and not be bored. You can still be yourself and be honest it will still come off human. I'm not saying you got to yell at the camera and say sub to my channel every few seconds. Just the parts where you just sitting there looking around almost like your lost or don't know whats going on you can just cut them to where you come back in talking and it will be the same type of videos you already make just cleaner that's all. Don't take it the wrong way you do you I just wanted to give an idea to look into. that's all.

ehem its phase inversion XD lol great video man I love these style of videos you make. the production is always fantastic. I think it would be cool if you did some videos giving your opinion on amp modelers some time. it feels like everyone is now using a axe fx and helix and kemper instead of micing up a guitar. It would be nice to see how you would view it.

What are your thoughts on using the 8 line outputs for analog summing through a Black Lion PM8 passive summer and going back into the unit?
Are the D/As clean enough for such an application?

hey man..i love your channel and cool to see you working with jhon some...anyway on this interface are the converters as good as the new clarrett8 usb . and wondered about the input /output switching internal and if you hook up external pre does it bypass the pre on the audiofuse or does it make you go through it?

    Arturia pres vs Audient pres?

Not sure that would be very productive, they’re both very quiet and clean. Might highlight something interesting though. I’ll add it to the long long list!

    Hi Adam,
I’m looking at this for home use ( also Focusrite Scarlett and Clarret 8 pre). So, a few questions if you could help me out.
I use iPad for recording with Auria, can I access all the functions I need directly from the unit, eg switching from line to instrument from the unit as opposed to plugging into a PC to reconfigure lie, with focusrite.
What I’m aiming for is a set up where I don’t need to keep connect and unplug equipment constantly so would connect my Torpedo Captor X , Cab M +, Kemper ( hopefully getting soon) and be able to use separately - hope that makes sense
    Thanks
PS, I’m upgrading form an old Itrack Dock.

Do you think this might be on pair with RME converters? I need to replace my old multiface 1 with something more versatile but I don’t want to lose any quality. Thanks!!!

Inputs and outputs are TRS? But each channel carry mono signal?

    • @adamsteelproducer
      @adamsteelproducer  2 роки тому +1

TRS is usually balanced, which is mono but with noise reduction. Same as XLR

@@adamsteelproducer May I ask few questions:
I want to connect a tape deck that has RCA which are unbalanced, to Arturia 8Pre, is it OK to connect unbalanced TS cable to it?
Yet another step up, if I want to pass from deck through patch bay which is balanced TRS, to Arturia 8Pre, It's going to work with unbalanced source? Just I loose with the TS cable from the deck, the "balanced" signal?
How to overcome the problem of RCA being unbalanced? Is there a way?
But isn't it modern unbalanced cables shielded (tinned copper mesh + carbon semi-conductor) so what all the hustle with unbalanced/balanced?
