    I am an early adopter of the AudioFuse Studio. Still a very happy user. Studio has improved my recording, production, and monitoring workflows. I am also pleased with the various Arturia VST plugins and virtual instruments.

      Arturia really is an amazing company. I bought my keylab 25 back in 2017 and still use it to this day. I also picked up v collection about a month ago. Long story short, they are incredible. Now it looks like I will be saving up for this next :)

    Playlist "Audiofuse Tutorials" with only one video for Audiofuse... can we get some further content here Arturia? Would love to see more about using different types of products with insert and aux send return. Which in my opinion is the best selling feature of this interface.
    For example, one video on Inserts using a y cable with unbalanced mono tips for an insert isn't gonna be helpful for those with 2 A/D balanced insert terminations. Or is it?
    I'm sure there's more than one videos worth of features to be showcased here. I really wanna see specific to Audiofuse STUDIO and not just the little guy.
    Real applications with actual physical outboard gear would carry this product and channel so much further.
    After 4 years of owning Izotope and Native Instruments I'm still learning applications from their youtube channels content. Why would I expect any less from Arturia? I mean, yall are NKS partners right?

    Is there a way to mix the headphone (like AudioFuse rev2) so we can dial in the headphones between DIRECT and COMPUTER audio?

  • @bizarrefruit
    @bizarrefruit 3 роки тому +1

    Thanks very much for the video, really interesting. Could anyone please help me by telling me if it is possible to direct monitor all inputs without having the software open. I read something somewhere about presets, but can these be accessed without being connected to a computer?
    My current interface allows me to plug in my Captor X and an audio source and monitor both without having to have my studio computer switched on (for when I just want to play for fun), I know the audiofuse rev.2 has the mixer knob for direct vs. computer, but how does that function with the studio, please?
    Hypothetical example: inputs 1+2 for L/R from my amp and either phono or bluetooth in for backing track.
    It's not a dealbreaker for me and I love the functionality of this interface, but I like being able to just play through my monitors with a track without having to set up my whole studio, would that still be possible?
    Cheers

      You’ve asked questions that I would also like answers for if anyone users would care to comment. I assume if my loopback comes in on 19/20 that I could route that to 1/2 for zoom and other such platforms that only listens to 1/2???

    • @bizarrefruit
      @bizarrefruit 2 роки тому +1

      @@GMan269 Hey Greg, I bought the unit last year shortly after posting, hopefully I can help answer the question for you.
      First things first, you can monitor without having the computer on/connected. You have 3 mixes (Main and Cues 1 & 2), whatever settings you had applied for each will remain active after powering off until you next change the settings.
      Loopback gets listed as a single output once activated so you can put that as your device in any program that will only accept one input (they are labelled well so you'd see it instantly as 'loopback'). Example: Set cue 1 mixer settings to be hearing what you want to output and then select cue 1 as loopback in main mix. Bluetooth can also be looped back.
      Hope that helps, the unit is phenominal and I am thrilled with mine but if you have any other questions, I'll see what I can do.

      @@bizarrefruit thanks for the help. I’m torn between this and the Motu ultralite mk5. I think sonically they’re fairly equal. The Motu has built in dsp. Which is of dubious importance if you’re not recording 50 tracks or something. I am a bit concerned about support from arturia which I think has improved. How is RT latency when you’re not internal monitoring?

    • @bizarrefruit
      @bizarrefruit 2 роки тому

      @@GMan269 You're welcome. I can't speak to the reliability of Arturia support as I've not had an issue so far.
      Latency wise; it takes 3.1ms (1.1/2.0), 8 samples @48k. I just did a quick check for those stats through my DAW and what it reports, so take with a pinch of salt.
      That's more than adequate for my needs but I couldn't say how your performance might vary if you were tracking a heavily processed signal. That's where your DSP might shine if it can unburden your cpu to allow you to use those lower sample rates.
      It's worth nothing that my studio PC is over a decade old at this point and it's USB 2.0 I'm connected in to, so I'm sure with a newer computer and USB-C it would be faster still.
      The Moto looks great too and is a chunk cheaper as well, looks like a solid unit, so as you said, probably comes down to DSP or not and the extra cash.

    Hello Arturia team,
    I am trying to setup my Audiofuse Studio with an external analog compressor in Ableton using the External Effect Plugin
    Do you have any tips on how to properly root signals?
    I tried to use aux out, but I am not sure to which channel it corresponds to
    Also It seems that Output speaker A or B are always sending audio out from Usb Channel 1 -2 and 3-4 .
    Is there a way to separate the source of the Output of Speaker A and B ?
    I would like to have speaker A as main monitoring outputting USB 1-2 , and Output B with USB 3-4
    Thanks for you help :)

Connected the BAM OUTs to AudioFuse Studio Inputs 3-4, but not sure how to send a single track to the BAM. If I use AUX I get my whole mix. Is ther some way to configure Logic to only send a single bus to AUX?

    I’m using the AudioFuse Studio for about a year now and overall I’m very satisfied with the device and would buy it again. The only thing that is a bit “underwhelming” is the fact that the inserts 1-4 are hardwired to the inputs 1-4 (or did I miss something?). I would have loved them to be freely routable via the Control Center to a) avoid using an additional patch bay and b) be able to route all inputs (especially my synths on inputs 5-8) through the same FX chain (when needed) . Is implementing that in a future firmware update even possible?

      @@ArturiaOfficial Hi , I just wanted to share my same sentiment. I own the Audiofuse Studio As well and I love it but I really would appreciate it if the inserts were able to be used and assigned in the control center. For example, I have to take up the reamp/aux section to line inputs 7/8 for an external effects processor to then be able to use it in Ableton Live as an "external audio effect" If I could bypass that by using the Inserts and save my inputs for other things this would make the Audiofuse Studio the #1 choice for anyone looking for the best interface on the market for the money and quality.

      I just got the AF Studio and successfully tried this. In the AF Control Center app enable Loopback and pick a source (eg: Main Mix). In your DAW's audio settings enable AF's audio channels 19 & 20. Create and arm an audio track that will record from channels 19 & 20 (mute the track so you don't get any feedback). At this point anything you play on your computer (that will go out of the Main Mix) will also be sent to the audio track which you can then record. It's a cool feature 😍

    I have had this interface for 2 years. It has been incredibly reliable, versatile, and durable. I am a composer, producer, and mixer. It is great for using synths, instruments, guitar pedals. My only issue has been the Reamp feature, when trying to feed audio from Cubase into a guitar pedal and then back into the interface. If anyone has any suggestions how to make that work with the Audiofuse let me know. Otherwise, a GREAT interface, imo better than Focusrite, Steinberg, and equal to Apollo, but cheaper and more features. Super underrated product that I would buy again.

Since your speaking-voice soft and low. Most of the times in this video, I tried to understand your tutorials, but I got these distractions through-out this video. If you really wanted to have some sounds/music in the background, just use a instrumental-music in a very low volume... -or- don't use anything like this because you will push your views away from your intention and purpose of your videos. Just your voice will be much more professional in this kind of "Educations/Teaching... Tutorials"

    OK. I am massively confused. I'm not a guitar player but I have started learning. Is there a simple explanation on how to connect a guitar to my Audiofuse and to get sound??? I have plugged the cable into Input 3 and selected instrument. There is signal but it is low and doesn't move when I play the guitar or not. I don't know what to do? Do I buy an amp and connect THAT to the Audiofuse (I would have thought the Audiofuse would be the amp???). The Audiofuse Control Centre Input 3 is greyed out. According to the manual AudioFuse Studio will auto-detect that you have connected a 1/4" cable and either the Line or Inst LED will light up in the Input Channel section. Press the Inst button to ensure that the right kind of input device (line-level or instrument) is selected: Yes. I see that. It did detect the instrument but no electric guitar sound is happening. and the line level is stuck half way without moving when I play the guitar. (I've raised the gain) I am stumped. I don't what I'm doing wrong. (I also checked the forums) Could someone there at Arturia explain it to me in simple terms for someone who isn't that knowledgeable about these things? Is reamping something I need to figure out? Signal flow has never been my strong suite. Thank you.
