I like this video because it shows us the importance of the couple's emotions, for example, what they did not know, the importance and the contribution it has for society. The video advises us to be mentally healthy and control emotions, and we as human beings can get angry easily, so we have to respond positively and know how to act before each occasion.
Do you need instant help I recommend you to (Dr Wilson) he help me restore my broken relationship back to normal he can also render help to you too 💝💝💝💝💘💘💘
NOTES Benefits of SEL- Students learn to manage their own emotions have empathy develop problem solving Make responsible decisions maintain healthy relationships Students who can recognize their own emotions students can see emotions in others students can ask for help Be assertive for themselves More likely to earn a degree more friends , less likely to bully
What’s strange about this, is they are finding that’s children who aren’t learning this at home aren’t allowing the information to sink in while at school. Parents seems to be a bigger factor in the behavior of their children than our schools would have hoped.
This video doesn’t say what SEL is but only lists what they believe to be the benefits of it. Why not provide an example so we can learn more about it?
How is the research factial if SEL hasn't been around longer than a few year and the only research that has been processed is childs subjective surveys?
Hello, thank you very much for inquiring about research. Our work, as well as the field of SEL, is based on long-standing, comprehensive research. You can find some of the research background on our website at www.cfchildren.org/about-us/making-the-case-for-sel/. If you have any further questions or thoughts after reading about the research, please reach out to us. Have a nice day!
I want to see the research. I wonder if the statistics are built on the fact that it is the more well-adjusted kids who are willing to participate in SEL, which would render the statistics meaningless.

This video is very educational as it teaches us how important are the social - emocionals and how much they influence social coexistence , In addition we must know how to develop them before society
I deeply appreciate this short, informative, entertaining video. I have also included your SLE research in my graduate projects about mitigating ACEs. Thank you! I am going to share with teaching staff.
I believe that schools should incorporate this more often, I’m no expert but I’m quite sure that mental health is greatly important in order to prevent suicides and school shootings from happening. It is something many people look over and often ignore.
Love this -- I use the 2nd Steps Curriculum to support SEL in our district. Thanks for this film - it will help me encourage the teachers to use this curriculum whole class too.

Ok, this is extremely important, but how are they supposed to learn this when they aren't allowed to be at school with their friends/ to make friends to learn this important quality?? A computer does so much for a child, and being home isn't helping them grow.
El video es muy interesante, ya que nos ayuda a mejorar con nuestras emociones y las expresiones de nosotros mismos. También nos muestra como es que la sociedad nos ayuda y como es que nosotros podemos ayudar a la sociedad.
Hi, I want to ask for your opinion. So I had just finished senior high school. Before that, I didn't mind socializing at all, all I did is studying so I can be the best of the best. Since senior high school, I started to mind about social, and I started social interactions. A lot of people bullied me then, because I spoke to people like shit, and I did not even know how to answer them. Because of that, I was depressed like fuck. Because of that, I started learning to socialize, and finally I felt good. However, my grades were lower due to depression, and now I feel broke. I cannot achieve being the best student at school, and I am still striving to get a good university. How can learning socializing become hard and make grades don't go well, since it is not that hard for others to maintain balance?
Thank you for reaching out Jeremy, we know it takes a lot of courage to ask for help. Socializing can be very hard in high school, and bullying is a difficult issue. We’re sorry to hear that you were bullied. It sounds like you’ve done a lot of work to get better at socializing. That shows maturity and we’re glad you’re feeling good now. It might feel like you’re the only person who struggles with socializing, but you’re not alone. Many high school students deal with this. It is a normal part of growing up. Please consider talking with a counselor or another adult at school you trust about your feelings. They can help you learn to socialize and make a plan to help you with your grades.
I’m trying to make sense of this from a Cognitive Science perspective… Sweller says biologically primary skills cannot be taught (these get picked up automatically by the student) while biologically secondary skills (like math, reading and writing) need to be taught explicitly. Aren’t SEL skills biologically primary? If they are secondary, is there an SEL curriculum? In the video I heard that students who have strong SEL skills do better in school and life in general but that doesn’t mean it can be taught - just that there is a relationship between being “well adjusted” and life skills that are valued in society. Help me see how SEL is teachable, please. Thank you.

Well I have to say that in such a case Social Emotional Learning is Fabulous and very much needed. With the world of people going through this pandemic it is very hard to get by by being isolated as we were. But at the same time to teach empathy is By far not easy. The mess of not understanding others goes deep there is the attitude of being bullies! And this has deep roots from even before the Pandemic. Hey Im all for it and this should have been taught ages ago. The hardships the cruelty even Teachers Boarding schools have been atrocious! Oh I wish all teachers sucess in Teaching S.E.L 💕💙💕🌍💙💞

I work daily on Social- Emotional Learning skills with my 8th graders. They are at the age where they do not make good decisions and lots of impulsive behaviors. I believe SEL is very important in the classroom for today's children. It will help stop the "from the school to prison" road a lot of our students who are on that road.
El video muestra la importancia de las socio emociones hasta el momento no sabia que tan inportante eran pero al ver el video me quedo claro su inportancia y la contribución ante la sociedad
Really love this video, great for parents! Actually I am writing an interview article about SEL and we have an interview video too. Can we use some parts of your video with clear reference entitled? We want more people to know about SEL! P.S. We are an online media focus on education topics in China.

Still trying to teach children how to act. My child's emotions are not your business. Today's teachers have truly crossed boundaries that belong to the parents. Our society has become so sad.
Emotional Social Learning helps us to be much better people , be it in the aspect of education or daily life , since it helps you to better deal with solving your pronlems , with communication of relationships with people in your environment , to get better grades , to think and make better decisions.
I found this very useful, I'm about to resume the teaching job of Canada curriculum here in my country, pls can I have anyone's email teaching in Canada for better understanding?
I heard a lot of declarative statements, claims, but not one bit of evidence. No peer reviewed citations, no backup of the claims, no proof of its effectiveness.

I’m a firm believer! I think teach this more than my content area. “Stop, Think, and Breathe and Make the Right Choice”!
we not gonna appreciate the great and wonderful stop motion and claymation

Its important for students to be able to deal with emotions in positive ways. Problems can be solved peacefully. The statistics were eye opening.

It's good for me to, because I been struggling with social emotional regulation how to deal with up and down as adults. Thanks for your feedback mam.
Thank you for your great comment! We agree, SEL is certainly important for adults as well.

Me pareció muy buen video ya que nos enseñan sobre las emociones y las decisiones que tenemos que tomar
Great for my little nephews. Thank you
Thank you!
OMG, the video was amazing. I love it
Right? It gets the importance of SEL across so simply.
para mi este video me muestra que tenemos que ser equivalentes con las personas y ser responsables
the video gives us very important information about emotions and skills at school and word for each of us
It is a good video, but with the theme it gives to explain, I really liked it. I'm from the school with Conalep Cd. Azteca, group 609
Es un video llamativo por como se expresan usando varias manualidades, esta chido.
SEL is just another sham to avoid teaching actual skills and waste time on useless fluff.
Good video. So important to look at the entire person
Ok, this is extremely important, but how are they supposed to learn this when they aren't allowed to be at school with their friends/ to make friends to learn this important quality?? A computer does so much for a child, and being home isn't helping them grow.
This is a very good question. We're all learning this together right now for sure.
Great sypnopsis bravo

También nos muestra como es que la sociedad nos ayuda y como es que nosotros podemos ayudar a la sociedad.
lots of great tips to share with parents to use at home too!
Which is where all of this SHOULD be getting dealt with by RESPONSIBLE parents.
SEL has always been important but now it's more important than ever for young people today.

short and sweet, and to the point!
