In this video, I'll be unboxing the AI Nero 3 for my Waterbox Peninsula Mini 25. I have the same one in my Waterbox Cube 20 and I have been very happy with its performance. I really like the minimalistic design and it is so easy to control and customize through the app, so I chose to go for this one again. I'm also sharing some new things I added to this tank :)

I love my Nero 3 they are getting hard to get my LFS is working on getting another one for me they are on back order right now ever since I started adding sps to my tank I think I need more flow for my 36 gallon i believe two of these will be perfect with all the modes it has and easy control from the app I bet you will love it 👍 great video love how your tank is turning out it’s amazing how you don’t have to say a word and I still stayed tuned in until the end lol👍

Love the Nero and I have the AI app but the Nero was a little out my budget at the time😔. So settled on another brand. Also love the shade for the light! Got to look into that and that coral for my tank.👌

I started my tank watching your videos. Please, what did you enter in the media basket instead of the socket? I have an "explosion" of diatoms and i have to clean my socket daily. thanks
Hey mate, I only have filter floss in the media basket. I'd recommend doing regular water changes and removing as much of the brown algae as you can every time. All the best.

I haven't had any issue so far. As long as the magnet side is not damaged and still waterproof

I was worried about the same thing, magnet fell on accident and the pump stayed in place while it was on, which pushed it against the back & now I don’t use back magnetic water anymore, just sits in my cabnit lol
Do you find that having one of these is necessary? I’ve been sort of skeptical since I’m primarily looking to keep softies and LPS, in my peninsula 25, most of which prefer low flow, so I was thinking a strong wavemaker like this may be overkill. Could you tell your coral needed more flow and that’s why you got it? Or was it moreso just another fun gear purchase? 🙃
strictly necessary? no. but it's nice to have a controllable pump with different modes. I have the same tank as you, lps and softies only and have jebao slw which is the Chinese "clone" of this pump and it gets the job done superbly.
May I ask how is that overflow gruad help?
It prevents smaller fish and invertebrates from migrating to the rear chambers of the aio tank.
Ted is absolutely right. It is a precaution as I have sexy shrimps that may slip through to the rear chambers.
Very chilled out video today. The Deshi is lovely. What if you made the bottom of that tank a Deshi garden? All different coloured Deshi on the sand bed would create a lovely look to the tank.

Still don't get bothering to acclimate then dip in poison. No need to acclimate coral.
