This is her best lead single since “Slow” in late 2003 which was a slinky electro track. This song has moved lock stock and barrel into my head where it will live permanently. I’ve been a fan since 2001!
Absolutely! Since Slow and Hung Up and this is finally such a strong lead single from my favorite artists. it just warps me decades back, having a track on repeat and giving me so much joy.

Totally agree about Madonna being disappointing as of late. Kylie, however, has been consistent in delivering QUALITY work with every release. This one is no exception.

Had to return and rewatch this vid. Turns out Padam was used by 1994 in Kylie's Confide In Me. Which I know you already covered the recent acoustical version just a few months back. Meanwhile Kylie's official YT channel has released an extended remix of Padam Padam and also some other remixes etc.

Music from the 70s......or from the 2030s, it doesn't matter with her.Goddess
What I see about Kylie is that she never changed her style drastically from one album to another in a whole. Also, I never see her following trends just to gather some new fans to her base. When she fully experienced disco for the 1st time in Light Years, nobody didn't care about that genre at all. The electro sound in Body Language was in a time that electro clash movement was over, the same about modern R&B in the same album. Or Golden, released when country dance pop wasn't something new as it was few years ago. And Padam has EDM beats already overused. So, what makes her so different after all is her essence of always being true to herself, doing what she does want to do. And she is a hitmaker for sure, because she has this incredible sense as an artist to instantly know what is a great tune even before recording it. From lucky lucky lucky to la la la and padam padam... 5 decades releasing bangers. I still think that Padam could be a lot better than it is, but the way it was done worked commercially and I'm happy for her. And I think that topping the charts at her 50's hopefully is going to be a turning point over the ageism that lives in the industry, which is awesome.
