I got same problem 04 BMW 545 already replace starter relay truck other by glove box & by Dme run all summer some time don’t what crank but y play with key turn on some time I’m driving it will turn off don’t start for for couple mins

Fob key battery...make sure your 12 volt battery terminals are clean and tight.
Did replacing the key fob battery fix the problem? My battery terminals are fine, but I have yet to replace the key fob battery.
