A suggestion to those who NEED to have their coins graded. Find a well known dealer who does much business with one of the better known services, and ask him to submit the coin for you. Pay whatever (presumably a reasonable fee OVER REGULAR FEES!) to submit it! I have found that by doing this and having that dealer have a very discerning eye as to grade will make a difference! The more coins he sends each month, and having his opinion agree mostly with that service will usually produce a winner! JUST A SUGGESTION!

Better yet, since this hypothesis is set in the fact that a dealer is going to get the grade desired over the general joe public, annnnnd it's truly a coin worth being graded etc, then if it were I... I would just offer to sell the coin outright to dealer. Win win for both parties. 💯

Ive seen this scenario backfire & its led to wasteful spending by individuals that wont accept reality of lower graded coins.

Hi Shaun! TY for another informative video! Wow, can"t believe those grades on the 80's and 90's Lincoln cents! I need to get a job asap, as soon as I am completely recovered from my left foot being rebuilt! Need $$ to have mine graded... I have three to five each of these coins! But, I was wondering if the light scratches I saw in the photos are on the coins themselves, or on the slabs. If one the coins ~ I'm in great shape!

Hey I picked a 1940 wheat penny that is quite different the coin on it has the outside is showing the coin is like the 1943 steel penny because I put a magnet to it and lift it up however the coin is chipped and there’s copper underneath

@ericmoritz3384 Jesus I was just writing the Same thing!😂 I know that he has submitted coins for grading before and been REALLY disappointed.! So he tells everyone not to bother grading. But these FS nickels that really have NO STEPS, and the Full torch or the Full split bands that are put on labels, are MISSING!🥺

I have a 1940 penny that looks like it was just minted. Would the value be worth getting graded?
If you have a 1983 penny in great condition then it’s worth close to 10,000 but I don’t think that 1940 pennies hold any worth right now but probably will in the future! There’s a list of pennies that have good worth that you can just Google that information. I promise that I am not spreading misinformation and I just like to help random people because I am cool like that!

Sean, do you tell people NOT to have their coins Graded due to YOURSELF being burned; as you had believed that you had high graded coin submissions? I ask because PCGS grades some Coins in the 67 - 68 range and when I look at them under magnification, they are horrible!! The same goes for NGC! On Jefferson Nickels they grade FS where there are CLEARLY NONE, and in the ones with 7 FS they don’t attribute them?!?! It is utterly Infuriating!!!!!
