Excellent tutorial and thanks for your help. I am a Pistfer fan. 👍👍. Now I can do it.
Most modern homes with Roman tubs aren't on an accessible deck like this. They are one piece molds with walls that go down to the floor. Therefore you'd have to access it from the attic underneath.
This video was very helpful installing my new Pfister faucet. Thanks

@@PfisterFaucetsUS My only complaint is @ 7:27 why is the smooth portion of the vertical stem not made to the exact length to match the internal depth of the main spout???
If it was we wouldn't have to cut it.

I guess because it’s behind a panel that can be removed it’s not hard plumbed. Still my preference.
How do you change this if it’s all tiles around the tub?
Start cutting
You have to remove some pieces to access the plumbing sometimes sometimes there's an access with hinges on it where you just open it I'm doing one now I had to take the whole step off the hot tub
There's at LEAST a half inch of space under those valves to make the lock nut a half inch longer... Why? Why make it impossible to service.. this question is for every brand and company!

My "never-leak" hot valve leaks. Will the old one unscrew from the top without any need to access the bottom body under the tub rim?
I figure it should but it seems awfully tight and don't want to force it.
Amazing. You ask for help over a year ago, and the assholes at Pfister haven't replied to you. Yessir! Service after the sale!
Why did you not use seize tape on threads? Why do we have to cut tube if spout fits on? Should still work if 3" not 1.5"

The instructions said do not use any kind of pipe dope or anything for my new Roman tub faucet
Why do companies choose to make the lock nuts so thin and impossible to work with? Can someone explain this?

How do I make the hot water adjustment?
Hi! The roman tub cartridges don’t have adjustments, and the cartridge may need to be replaced.
