This is the second time I have done your exercise video.
Having painful sciatica for the past year or so, i have been finding lots of videos to help me.
But today doing the figure 4 stretches my body felt a peace that has been forgotten, wow !
You don’t rush through each movement and I think this is why is it more effective
    Thank you so much

I’ve tried a lot of yoga / Pilates workouts for sciatica and this is by far the best one I’ve discovered. Gives me such relief I hardly even feel the sciatic pain in my glute/hamstring anymore! Will keep doing this daily

Forward bends are not advised when lumbar hernia/bulging discs are the reason of sciatica.

If you have been advised to not flex the lumbar spine please, please, listen to your medical professional. Depending on what phase you are in, movement can be helpful to encourage mobility and releasing surrounding muscle tissue. In this roll down exercise I focus on hamstring length and well as spinal mobility so just omit the roll down if that has been advised by your medical professional or is not comfortable for you. Option to lie on your back and stretch hamstrings that way. Perhaps do some basic pelvic tilts if that is suitable for your body. Thanks for your message.

I've been doing these exercises for the past few days and am beginning to feel the benefits. Also i find taking Magnesium in the evening also helps.

That’s great news and I agree with the magnesium also. I find the powder magnesium beneficial for me.

I feel more discomfort with the right leg doing the tennis ball 🎾 exercises, how can I be sure I’m not hurting myself ? Usually my lower back pain comes with numbness on my right leg

Hi Andreita, I would ease off the muscle as you don’t want to irritate the nerve. I strongly advice to check with your Physiotherapist or medical practitioner in your next appointment to see if trigger point therapy is suitable for your condition. 💕
