Thanks for the video. It helps a lot. I wish a few of the decisions were clearer - like which side is the front! Also I’m really not a fan of companies who monetize UA-cam content that is specific to a purchase. I shouldn’t be watching ads between construction
Note! There is an cut in the video at 10:20 where he rotates the composter but this is not shown. It is just before he installs the panel with the latches. Be sure to rotate it before you install this panel. Otherwise, thought it was very helpful. Thank you.
We just bought one; it arrived today, June 29th 2022. We live in Italy and it arrived directly from Sweden, so it should be the last model. They changed the plastic plates, they are now octagons that cover all the insulating material. Unfortunately the manual does not explain that the holes in the plastic octagons , in which you are supposed to insert the plastic screws at the very end of the installation, are not symmetric. We realised it only when 4 metal panel were already screwed in place. Now by chance the holes in one of the external gable do not match the holes of its plastic octagon, the other side is ok. We have to take apart almost everything or to make new holes and accept that there will be uncovered holes in the structure, letting liquid pass inside the plastic cover. I think we will take it apart but I worry about the self threading screws. Can you unscrew and re-screw them without damage? Why on earth do they tell what you should do at the beginning only at the last paragraph?
@@tommckague212 Yes, I knew the video was North American, but I got the link from the italian importer, so I thought it was the official one. I thought the composter I got was an upgrade, as the video is one year old. I think the Joraform is always made in Sweden, am I wrong?
Certainly not easy to put together. This was my second one, and it was still difficult to get the panels attached to the drum. Watch the video through entirely once. Then use it as a reference, pausing as you complete each step. The order of the panels can be difficult. Remember that flat panels are opposite other flat panels (or the panel with latches) and handles are opposite other handles (or the door handles) A power screwdriver is nearly essential, but you have to be careful not to strip the screws. They may go in slightly crooked, but I think that doesn't cause any serious problem.
The second panel you put in place, you put on one that had a handle. You placed this second panel adjacent to the first panel that was installed, which was flat. after that you placed the third panel and this third panel was the latched one.. When you placed on, it was next to the handle panel that you had just placed. Now, all of a sudden around 10:26 in the video; you are placing the latched piece up next to a flat panel. How does that happen? This confused the hell out of me as you somehow must have skipped recording some of the install. Now it's hard to tell how the proper rotation of the panels are suppose to go... A panel had been placed differently then you first showed. It is very confusing when you go out of step. I watched another video from 2015 and they went over placement more carefully, panel by panel. Your video is better in some respects but when it came to panel placement it became very confusing...It's getting dark now, maybe it will make more sense in the morning.
I tried assembling the 125 which i thought i would be able to do in no time considering the video is only about 20 minutes, however, to my disbelief, this video made the already trying process of assembling this hellish composter together somehow worse. Eventually, I took to the comments to see if anyone else agreed to then find your comment. The recommendation of the 2015 video is now on my radar, thank you from saving me from spending an entire lifetime attempting to complete assembling what seems like some sort of lovecraftian puzzle.
At this price point, your instructional video should be MUCH better. I can’t believe you did not even specifically explain exactly where each panel should go. VERY disappointing.

Certainly needed this video! Instructions got a bit challenging to understand for beginners like me. But got there thanks to this video well done
Thank you so much. My 125 just came in the mail the other day and now I feel much more confident about putting her together.

You watched the North American video, I am not sure if the office in Sweden has one or if there are any differences

C’mon Jora. This is OK - compared to the awful printed material in the box. But you can do better. Especially at this premium price point.

not the best communicated instructional I've ever watched..
