The funny thing about those yellows drowning is that they actually drown faster while spiced up. With a spicy spray effect active, all animations speed up, including drowning
I'm sorry but the "I see how this is going to work" [Hard cut to you swarming the boss with every pikmin utter chaos and bloodshed and drowning] really got me laughing.
(1:06) The attack on this boss commences! (1:21) Welp, first Pikmin deaths today. (2:03) D'oh, a couple yellows went glub glub. (2:17) The boss is more interested in perforating your army than you. (2:25) Ooh, a safespot? (2:30) But then you screwed up there. (3:50) Start of the winning floor 13 boss fight. (5:19) Victory! You did use 2 spicy sprays and still lost 4 Pikmin, but that honestly wasn't too bad. (5:55) Memorable Gyro Block: 80 Pokos. (7:24) Hello there, bigger spider... for boss time! (9:35) Who wants pancakes? :P (Yeah, I kinda saw that coming.) (10:27) Start of the winning floor 14 boss fight. (11:47) Flawless victory! (11:56) Whoa, that spider decided to try being a thief. Well, you and your gang won't stand for that! (12:24) Fond Gyro Block: 80 Pokos. (13:09) Ooh, floor 15 is the final floor, which'll get saved for next time!
The President's spider squashing skills really coming into play here. Im glad to see his time away from the office hasn't dulled his ability to combat web-making vermin.
If only you had someone blue and expendable here to distract the bosses. Between yesterday's remark about Louie and today's, it's always funny to hear raocow casually disregard him. So quick to cast Louie aside, you'd think he was a _green horse_ or something.
I looked it up, and nintendo blocks are something that was sold in 1968 to compete against Lego, and Lego tried to sue, but Nintendo won. Ultimately, though, in 1970, nintendo stopped selling them
I just noticed we are on Day 28, wouldn't it be funny if we ended up finishing this exactly on Day 30 (in-game), which is the time limit of Pikmin 1. I mean it could be possible if rao manages to squeeze farming for all the Purples on Day 29 and then gets the Dumbbells on Day 30 before diving in the Cavern of Dreams.
in the case of the beady long legs floor, i always took it as kind of trying to evoke the forest navel with the man at legs...admittedly i dont know how much else you could do to make the fight feel different both cases though its pretty easy to lure it away from the water though

That's kinda funny. I guess it makes some sort of sense too, since they'll be breathing faster (or even hyperventilating)?

"I see how this is going to go. But first let me show you how it isn't going to go."
starting to think maybe that first fight with the man at legs didnt give the best idea of how to take it on

Man At Legs is why I've never beaten Pikmin 2
Amen. Man At Legs is probably the hardest boss in the game to do well actually.

but if we drown in blocks then where do they go?
"What if boss rush, but water everywhere?" - ROM hack devs
Yeah, they should have had Dirigibugs and Lightning everywhere instead!
"We specially coded invisible coin blocks into Pikmin 2 just for this dungeon."

@@Filbi”Oli and Prez can’t jump? We’ll make it work, screw you”
Yeah how dare these devs try to make things more challenging for the post-game??
we're gonna finish in the hero's hole, huh
