Yes older than 1970 they were bringing good money 1970's about $150 average, I sold one for a little over $600, but it was a perfect 1928. I have not looked lately, prices were also being manipulated by someone with deep pockets. I saw other 1928s go for much more. Definitely do not burn!
I am trying not to assume I know everything about machining as it is a vast and historied subject. Is this an American machine taper or is it a typo from your pronunciation of Morse? I couldn`t find anything online but google can be a little blind on Machining subjects at times. Generally enjoy your content and Thank you for the hard work.

I found a round head lever style made in Sweden at a flee market. Cost $1, but it works well.
