  • This is my first look and application of the Gyeon Q2 wax. It’s a wax with fluorine in it for added durability and hydrophobics. Very user friendly compared to other fluorine waxes. Superb hydrophobic properties and easy to work with. Along with the Gyeon wax, I put another fluorine wax in the video to compare with. Take a look and tell me what you think.

    I am a collector of high end car wax and I bought this on a whim for a car I had coated with Mohs and never used it as I sold the car. I then picked it up one day for a car I was doing for a friend and thought I would try it and wow A) The ease of use and B) The water behaviour is really good. It is one of my go to products for effect for friends cars. I was watching content from Status Detail recently and they were putting it on a light blue Porsche and then topped it with Gyeon Cure for extra gloss and protection. It is a method I have not yet tried but I do have a bottle of Cure so it will be something I try in the not so distant future.

    Nice one...i applied gyeon wax and leaved it over night..buff off extremely easy..a little drawback from gyeon..its a bit oily and leaves smears if not wiped off thoroughly 😀

    Nice review Benji. I have been thinking about getting this Gyeon Q2 Wax since it came out but I was on the fence about it. I might go ahead and get a bottle just to use as a topper. Looks like it went on effortlessly and wiped off easy and those hydrophobics looked unbelievable. And with as little as you use to do an entire vehicle, that tube would easily last for YEARS! I'll get a tube of that stuff from Autogeek or Detailers Domain when they run a good sale. Gyeon does make some phenomenal products. Just about everything they make is top notch. They are one of those companies where you could just go with ONE company for all your detailing products and they would all produce good results and are a decent value.

      They do make some great products. I’m filming the update already. I’d watch and then make your decision on Gyeon Wax. As u said though, it goes on effortlessly, wipes off easily and hydrophobic properties are amazing!!! But wait for the update here in a few days and then tell me what u think. Gyeon so far has been amazing to play with. Everything is user friendly and just works very very well. I’m happy to have it in my arsenal now and definitely made a fan out of me.

      @@DetailingBreakdown I'll wait for your update. I can only imagine what the results will be but my guess would be with the durability which probably isn't the best. I just got some Owners Pride stuff but haven't tried it yet. Gonna try it tomorrow probably. I plan on doing a rinseless wash and some touch up work on my car tomorrow. I got the ECO wash concentrate, the Ceramic Detailer, and the Dash Guard product for the interior. I'm excited to try those out. I am also going to apply the Gyeon Quick view to all my windows and refresh my tire coating. Supposed to be a crappy day here tomorrow (rain all day) so it will give me something to do in my garage.

      @@joevanseeters2873 it’s not about the durability as it’s only been a couple days. The beads are incredible on Q2 Wax. But I think u will find it interesting.

    Good tip on the fusso. Got the new version but not used it yet because of the tricky application issues 😨
    Ease of use is I look for. Great vid 👍

      I've never had any issues with removing Fusso coat. Apply it very thin and you will have no issues. Usually a wax/sealant that is more difficult to remove, in most cases, has better durability. This is true of Fusso Coat, Collinite 476s, Sonax PNS/BSD, Turtle Wax S&S(streaks)....the list goes on.

    • @DetailingBreakdown
      @DetailingBreakdown  3 роки тому

      @@SnakeDoctor5104 ya, we all apply thin. It’s brutal unless wiped off right away in very small sections. And in my heat, it ghosts. But it’s the most durable wax out there.

    Imo I wouldn't say put another wax in the video but say its name so people can get a review on that wax if they are searching for that more people are going to see it IMO this just my opinion I don't say I am the right one but I just suggest and please do a video on what products you have and what surprised/like the most even if its very long I want to see it great video

      Damp the application pad before you use it. Two turns, the thinner you apply it the better. My problem is that it's abit of a dust magnet
