No, that is not possible... I have a fake pair and an original, and it is definitely counterfeit! Why would the box be in the wrong color... it's not Off-color its a different printing technique entirely! There is no way that was an accident, a quality control failure: In order to save money the fakes use yellow colored cardboard and print with black on top... real boxes have white cardboard and use 2 dedicated color printing, it is a special process and requires a special set up.. the box is actually a Dead Giveaway! No, my friend this is definitely a fake! P.s. quality control is understandable when there one/two things wrong, this is a whole shitlist of errors...
I bought the fake ones, not knowing they were fake Moscots, but thinking that they were a cheap copy of the Tart Arnel crystal/black. I learned they were fake Moscot Lemtov when I got the package. Did the same with Berkshire Chase, buying their cheaper version, then replaced with the 14K gold when the finish started coming off the low buck ones. I figure I spend $50 to see if they look good on me. If I like them next time I will blow the $280 to get the real thing. If I didn't like the way they looked I'm only out $50 at the max. Frames don't always line up as shown. Plus the optometrist will bend them up to fit the wearer. By the way if anyone is interested you can actually buy the REAL deal Shurons as made by Shuron since 1952. I'm wearing the same frames my late uncle and grandfather wore, got them without realizing it. I saw their portrait pictures and had to laugh. I got them because I'm a teacher and I did it because my high school chemistry teacher wore them. Kind of a hardass look. Love them. I got both the Berkshire Chase and Shurons from my optometrist for the pricing that is matching the best on-line prices I've seen without telling them. You can get the Shuron Rensir ZYL for around $100 usd. No need to blow $170 on the RayBan copies.
