- Ever wondered what brand of glasses someone's wearing in a movie? There's a good chance it's Anglo-American Eyewear. We take a look at some of the signature pieces from the collection and who wore them.

Guys, get your facts straight, those "Johnny Depp" frames are NOT what he is wearing in the picture you show. More specifically, he's wearing Tart Arnels (or maybe Moscot Lemtosh) and they feature a diamond-shaped metal insert/rivet whereas your frames show something like two metallic dots in the front of the frame!! Also on the pair you are holding the temples are much narrower...
Must say I've stopped watching after that, this clip is misleading.

Just ordered a pair of Anglo-American 116 round glasses! I hope they're nice and fit well! I finally found a round acetate frame my size 55-20-140 and those are the exact same measurements just with 145 on the arms! Dark tortoise too! Can't wait to try them! I've always had morw squares glasses, so im open to a new style! Thanks for showing these! 😁👌🏻
All those Anglo American frames looked great. Love the David Hockney frame, the Gandhi frame ( office contender maybe as well as the Springe?) and the crystal frame you wore which looked brilliant(maybe another office contender?). Can you still buy all these frames?

Yes that's the beauty of Anglo American. They rarely discontinue and have been making these models - with slight variations - for decades.
So many more people have heard of Moscot, Oliver Peoples etc, but I really appreciate the fact that this brand has gone so far under the radar. Maybe the quality is not quite as good, but it's close and these are way better value!
It would probably be better business for me to sell the other brands but I always stay true to what I believe in and not what is most commercial.

Moscott glasses high price cheap frames break easy useless warranty and Dan and kris are useless in customer service
Exactly! They’re charging Made in USA prices for cheap Chinese labour frames. I remember going on into the store in SoHo soon as I saw made in China I walked straight out.

I purchased a pair of moscott glasses in Milwaukee and was staying in Florida for the winter when I broke the frames. I called moscott to have them send me replacement. I was told by customer service that I had to go back to place of purchase which was 1400 miles away, no exceptions.
I wrote dozens of bad reviews. They sent the frames to Milwaukee who overnights to me
Don't waste your money. I paid 930.00 for them. I went to zenni and purchased two pair, progressive with extra active trans lens for $250.00
