That's interesting, if you type obco and krajowiec into Google Translate as separate words, it translates as, foreign and native. On its own, it's a lovely sounding word! Jestem obcokrajowcem, but my Grandfather was Polish. I never knew him, by my Dad was Ukrainian born. Grandfather fell in love with a Ukrainian woman :)
We might be foreigners from the way we look or the fact that we don't have the language skills, but in the last 1.5 years we all have become Ukrainian emotionally. So we are foreigners on passport, but not from the heart.
