I have been looking for a cover for this beautiful song that strips it down to its bones. I love this song and the original Fleetwood Mac version is great, but it takes time to get to the chorus, although each verse is lyrically poetic. But the chorus is what truly makes this song. It is a haunting representation of unrequited and unrelenting love that does what it does to thrive: It waits.
