    The Endosync and Endosync AI are rebranded versions of Morita's tri auto mini hand piece and the root zx apex locater. However they don't come with OTR . Morita provides OTR only in their higher end dentaport zx model . The problem with the Dentaport zx is that one cannot set a numerical torque value. Torque is displayed as horizontal bars which correspond to a torque range rather than a fixed single torque value. This information is for Dr. Allen's overseas subscribers .

      reema assaf while we are on the same topic , there is actually a endomotor from Coxo which costs one third of what the Dentaport costs while doing every thing the Dentaport does with the exception of OTR. Further I believe the newer model of the morita hand piece no longer has the electrode clip . The electrode is integrated in to the hanpiece head . Dr. Reema if I am not mistaken I believe you are from he middle east , may I know how you managed to get your hands on he Endosync .

      Thanks for the info Doc . I was till recently practicing in Abu Dhabi . Was using the Dentaport zx for more than 2 years . Lots of inconveniences an a very steep learning curve but once u get used to it it is probably one of the best endomotors money can buy , With the exception of the Endosync

      I actually visited India three years ago and had a great time. I have some footage I shot while over there at the end of this video. ua-cam.com/video/3fBaIGEsHGw/v-deo.html
      Hopefully next time. Best wishes.

    good morning sir,
    i m big fan of you i always watch your vedio on endo they are really very educating i have learnt lot of things
    sir i m a private Gp i use dentsply x mart for endo procedure.
    for endo i have understand speed and torque concept.
    but i want to know what gear ratio should be used for endoprocedure.
    in dentsply xmart speed torque and gear ratio can be adjusted

    • @AANasseh
      @AANasseh  7 років тому

      Gear ratio is a function of the type of contra angle attachment head that you are using with that handpiece and has nothing to do with the procedure. You need to read your devices manual and look a the attachment you have. Please ask your dealer. Best of luck.

    HI DR. HOW CAN A BUY A ENDOMOTOR IN COLOMBIA?

    • @AANasseh
      @AANasseh  7 років тому +1

      May not be available there at this time. You can buy during a trip for a meeting in the US I assume.

    Hi Dr. Allen, can you share some insights with regards to using apex locators in highly inflamed and bleeding root canals?
    I'm considering investing in a top-tier Apex locator (either Morita or NSK) because the one in the office I work in keeps indicating the apex has been reached when the file barely passed the orifice.
    In one of my moat frustrating cases, I tried to overcome this error by instrumenting to the estimated working length and even debrided the canals with an FKG XP Finisher, irrigated with the endovac but that Woodpecker EAL I used still indicated that the orifice to either mesial canals is, in fact, the apex.
    The chamber and coronal third is dry, too.
    Having asked this, how does your EAL perform under such conditions? Does paying more (3-4 times more) worth it?

      Sounds like a a video is needed. On this topic. I will. Cheers!

      @@AANasseh the modular nature of this product by Brasseler is really cool. In Europe, Endosync is not available, but we do have access to J Morita products (which inspired, or perhaps even manufatures the Endosync system).
      We do have the Triauto mini motor and Root ZX mini EAL, which can connect to one another, just like the products your showcased, but the Triauto mini does not have OTR. If I want to access the OTR feature, I need to get the Triauto zx2 which has a built-in EAL, which by itself is way more expensive.
      I wonder if OTR is worth it so much as to justify a big purchase right from the get go.
      I am pondering this, because that EAL I am using has mislead me one time too many at this stage, and I am considering investing in a new one.

    thanks for reply sir. i have check the manual the endo motor give me 1:1 , 4:1 , 16:1 , 10:1 , 20:1 gear ratio on my contraangle it is printed 16:1

    • @AANasseh
      @AANasseh  7 років тому

      Then you have your answer. You have to choose16:1.

      Well, I teach at the Harvard Endo program. So, I'm clearly biased towards the Harvard Program. In the U.S. there are a lot of good programs. I'm not familiar with any of the programs overseas. Best of luck!

    Hi Dr. Nasseh, does endosync hand-piece takes protaper files as well?? Thanks

    • @AANasseh
      @AANasseh  4 роки тому

      Yes it does. Works the same as EndoSequence Files with the settings. If you need more safety I would recommend setting it to OTR motion and play around with the OTR setting to taste based on your priority for safety vs. efficiency (0.2-0.6NCm)
      Cheers!

    Sir can we use the same basic and advance setting for any other file systems available other than ESX files ?

    • @AANasseh
      @AANasseh  5 років тому

      As long as they have similar geometry and design as the ESX file I think you should be fine.

    Thank you for the video, but I was wondering can/should the Endosync and Endosync AI only be used to determine working length in teeth with single canals? Because as you mentioned we should be using our rotary files with irrigant in the canals and chamber to facilitate adequate disinfection and avoid packing of debris; and having irrigant present in other canals and chamber may affect the accuracy of out apex locator readings. So can/is it efficient to use this system in teeth with more than one canal? Thank you for your reply and your videos! They're awesome!

    • @AANasseh
      @AANasseh  5 років тому +1

      Thank you. I use it in molars. But I don't keep it connected to the AI the whole time. I get close to the estimated working length in each canal. I then use the AI connected to EndoSync and measure the length. I capture the analogue length and then disconnect and use the length with a ruler moving forward. So, I connect to measure, and disconnect after I've captured length. This way, the canal is only dry for that period of time I'm measuring the length. I made a video on this already. Cheers.
