This is not working for my 2010 macbook air that I updated to Big Sur. Do you have any ideas on how to put iMovie on there. I can't get it from the app store unfortunately and it's not letting me download iMovie 9 or iMovie 10.04 on it. It's like I'm stuck in the middle.
OMG!!!! THANKS BRO I NEEDED IMOVIE SOOOO MUCH!!
Thank you man! This was really helpful.
Yea but I can't install or update the latest version of iMovie. People said to just delete it and you will get the install button, but I get the "Get" button and says "iMovie can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because macOS version 10.15.6 or later is required." And some people say to check the purchase tabs but I did and don't have the iMovie app.
It’s not working … after I did everything I went to AppStore to update and it says that iMovie can’t be installed because it was refunded or purchased from another Apple ID
Please help me 😢
Your a legend! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Any ideas how you can install Logic Pro x 10.3.2??
My iMac 2011 won’t open it and it says it unexpectedly quite everytime
I'm seeming to have a problem. I can get iMovie with the apple download, but every time I try to download the update, it just keeps asking me if I want to download it. I say yes, but it does nothing and just keeps bringing back the pop-up.
Thank you - I installed it and the version first installed works thankfully. I did go in to update it but it won't allow me to unfortunately. If you have the knowledge on updating a 2011 iMac to a newer version that can run the latest iOS programs that would be greatly appreciated too. Thank you again.
Thanks a lot dude. Thats was nice tutorial.
this is not working for me at all ...
Helpful thanks, it all worked until i went back to appstore to upgrade to 10.x.x, at that point get the update but then all i get is a spinning icon in the left. So i signed in and offered to download an earlier version but then all i get is the same box popping up time and again when i click continue
Will this technique work with other Applications aswell in older Macbook?
Thanks you, thank you, thank you! Instructions worked perfectly. With every step, my nerd software brain was saying, that makes sense with the protections that could be built in.
in terminal, it says could not open package for expansion. has anyone else has this error?
Thank you, you have helped me out so much with this video!
When I double clicked the folder after finishing Terminal nothing was inside the folder
