I grew up in the 80s when George dominated the pop culture. I was WAY too cool for him. I was into hard rock. I grew up and was working in an office and someone gave a copy of his double greatest hits. It laid in my car for months. One day I gave it a listen and was blown away by this man’s voice and song writing. Such beautiful words, music and man. I began to listen to his music more and more. That was over 20 years ago. I loved his hits but never explored much deeper. Last Spring this song just randomly started playing on my UA-cam scroll. OMG, it’s so beautiful, his vocals so strong and the words so raw. This has become one of my all time favorites. I hope in time I find more amazing songs on this level. Rest is peace George ❤
It’s been over 5 years now since George died and he is still greatly missed. Such a pity he didn’t find long term peace and happiness in his lifetime. The pain in his voice singing “Waiting” is so sad. The man was a musical genius!
It always seemed someone with that level of despair had some sort of illness. He was ashamed of himself! He was a wonderful Artist and I think he should have been proud of himself.
Every time I hear his voice, talking. singing, I get emotional and this is 2023 knowing we as fans won't be able to see him anymore or hear new songs .GM you are loved and missed by all your fans forever 😢❤.
Listen Without Prejudice is one of the greatest albums I'll ever listen to. I was but a mere 19 when it was released. I can still remember the lyrics when I listen to it now after all these years. It's music like this that has meaning, after the years that have passed. This Album was billed as volume 1, always hoped for volume 2.

Surely Listen Without Prejudice has to be one of the greatest albums of all time? Every song is fantastic and has its own story to tell and its own meaning he was trying to get across. This tiny melody thrown on the end of the album is such a touching and heartfelt song. The man was a song writing genius and it's a huge loss to music. I'm gutted he's gone I really am. RIP.
