I am 72. My husband is 75. We drove our basic Sonata for 15 years, so when we drove off with this 2025 Camry Hybrid LE thinking it was the somewhat improved "basic" type car we were used to driving, we were in for a big shock. We felt like airplane passengers who had been invited into the cockpit to fly the plane! The salesperson sent us off with patient, excellent basic preparation. We read the quick guide and looked things up in the manual that came with the car, and which we are very HAPPY to have, but when my husband finally located Mr. Ruperti's UA-cam tutorials, everything went so much more quickly and simply. These tutorials were a godsend for us. Now driving our new car is the pleasure it was supposed to be. Thank you, Mr. Ruperti!
@@brianruperti Great video. Is it ok to drive long distances without a "break in" period? Highway driving 75 miles each way speeds at 65 mph. Thanks for input.
This guy is great. Extremely helpful. Everything you'd hoped the dealer would have helped you with... but was too busy. I'm amazed that Toyota doesn't do this -- but Brian does!
I have just received my 2025 Camry Hybrid. Thank you for this tutorial, because it allowed me to better understand the different functions included with this vehicle. Your information is clear and relevant. A huge thank you!
Another cool feature of the 2025 Camry LE I learned from your video is that the steering wheel will vibrate when the car drifts out of your lane. Just like on my sister's 2023 RAV4 Prime SE. I was so psyched to learn that!! Thanks Brian. Please continue to make how to videos for all new Toyota vehicles. Someone asked you to make videos on the subscriptions for various safety features. I want you to do that too for the 2025 Camry LE. I hope to buy one in March 2025.
Thank you for this video. We have had our '25 Camry for a little over a week now. Our dealer was very helpful as well when we took it home, but this also explained a few things I was curious about.
Thank you for this very comprehensive and detailed explanation for the digital cluster on the LE. I own this model, and I love how this vehicle works. I understand what you were saying about how having the energy flow monitor on the infotainment screen can be distracting, but still there's a lot of us that like to know how the hybrid system works while we have other gauges and information displayed on the digital cluster. Do you think they can bring this back with an OTA update? Anyway, thanks again for this amazing video!
Nicely done. Just got our 25 LE AWD yesterday and this is a good self-paced refresher on what the salesperson did (which was pretty good too btw). We added the convenience and cold-weather packages to the base (as many people do), and there are a few more controls for them that I'll hunt down. Saved, liked, and subscribed!
Hi Brian, thanks for the video, it was very informative. I just recently purchased a 2025 Hybrid Camry LE. I noticed that the A/C turns on automatically even though I don’t have the A/C or the Auto switch turn on. I also noticed, under the hood, that the freon line from the a/c compressor is cold. Just wondering if the is normal?
Cool video. I'm waiting for someone to get one out on the road, and really put it through the ringer. I have driven my 25 SE on a variety of roads including mountain and canyon's. I think it does quite well. I would still like to see it perform in a pros hand's. Then hear his/ her take.
Great job on this video and learned quite a bit more about my 2025 TCH-LE. Of note: I have the convenience package, which adds the auto darkening inside rear-view mirror and a power driver's seat. Of note: The passenger side also has both manual seat height and back angle adjustments, which except for right-hand placement work as shown for the driver side in this video.
Well, you spoke very fast and I’m feeling Overwhelmed sorry to say but we will continue to watch the videos until the big day arrives. Perhaps this spring or six after that. Thank you.
2025 Camry LE, speedometer, how do you change it to seeing an old fashion speedometer from what is being shown in this video, there are three settings and none of the three show an old fashion speedometer, if there is that option can you please walk me through the steps
The video is great. All im missing is how to change from Android Auto back to the regular screen. Also how to use Android Auto for maps and the radio if you dont want to use Pandora.
Thank you! To get to regular screen you’d tap the Toyota app in your apps section For maps you’d simply select the map app you want to use For radio you’d go back to Toyota interface and select music/audio to listen to radio I hope that helps! Also be sure to check out your quick reference guide which makes the process a little easier as well
With the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 on my new 2024 Cross does the video from the front facing sensors camera act as a dash cam that would be available to use as proof in an accident or do I still need to add a Dash cam
Thanks for your video. Well done. Ihave a little issue. When driving on the highway, my lane keep assist is shown as a gray icon and not active green. Why is it not active? If I use cruise control it begins to work, but when not using cruise control, it's not correcting and pulling me back to the center of the lane.
Thank you for explaining that the adaptive cruise control can be switched to regular cruise control! This is hard info to find. If I have the adaptive CC turned off, when the car is turned off and restarted will it retain the off setting, or does it reset to the adaptive cc on?
is there no way to mute music on the steering wheel? ALSO, in WHAT situation do you use the Parking Brake button? If it's automatic, why the hell is it there?? I was told it works as like an Emergency brake? but is that true? What happens if you push this while you are driving?
Hey Brian, I just bought Camry 25 LE. I used to drive non hybrid Camry and used to put gear on neutral while waiting on the traffic light. I used to do it to save the break. I am not sure its a good idea for 2025 Camry as the battery should be charged by breaking. What’s your suggestion on this?
I just got my camry 2025 le . But believe me, I think my camry 2018 le is way better than these new ones . I used to have 2017 camry le, too. I believe that was best and last to that generation.
@@brianruperti Thanks for the reply, but I guess I am still not seeing it. There's a button to enable cruise control, there's one to change from adaptive to old-style, there's one to set following distance, then there are ones to increase and decrease speed and to cancel. But I'm not seeing one to set the speed. In my car, I enable cruise control with a button, then speed up to where I want to be, then hit another button to set the speed (on my car it's the "-" button). Maybe the button that turns on cruise control sets the speed immediately?
@@grim_ranger Honda does a way better job with their buttons. Toyota makes it confusing. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the lane trace assist activated. It only goes active when cruise is set.
The settings menu could be improved dramatically if, instead of all the 3 and 4 letter acronyms, it simply shows the words those letters stand for. As it is, I find it confusing and have to refer to a list showing what the various acronyms stand for.
I have a question: the gas tank is 13 gallons but it always says the range is about 470 miles when full. If it gives 50 mpg, shouldn't the range be about 650 miles?
@@brianruperti The top left button on that little cluster also sets it. Very confusing how it's all laid out. With the accord, the minus button is directly where your thumb naturally lays so it's way easier to find it without looking at it every time.
