I hold my finger on that little strip too. Nice, fast top. (I love my Pfaff).

How did you space your strips to get the effect of the quilt to your left? It's lovely.

My bobbin on the Baby Lock Presto 2 is right in front, how can I adjust the strip?

Cut a short piece so that it is on the bobbin cover only. Then when you need to change the bobbin, the sewing edge comes off with the cover and goes back in place. If there is any play in the fit of the bobbin cover, push the bobbin cover to the right before placing the sewing edge.

It looks like the vinyl strips are reusable; is that right?

Yes they are reusable. And you can cut them shorter, like to fit only on the bobbin cover. So one package of 5 strips can last a while or be shared with friends. Unless you don't want them to know the secret to your straight seams. ;-)

Love your tips on the cutting of the strips but I really dislike jelly roll race quilts, they are so boring and I think beautiful quilting fabric should be used to do something nicer. But I know, I am in the minority, :-)
