Pretty cyberdemon-esque too with the tail and digitigrade legs imo, could find a way to attach wings, or reshape the arms/legs slightly based on whatever you're going for

To be fair, you could probably find springs like that in an old disposable mechanical pencil or pen and could probably get similar results if you don't want to break a unique piece.
The first version of the build was way more bionicle/hero factory oriented but over the years I made it more streamlined and clean which meant more system. It's still got a few technic/constraction pieces but also I won't lie I'd have to be a little disingenuous to call it a bionicle moc myself
I remember mixing up my bionicles when I was younger, but I never got anything amazing out of it like THAT. It was mainly just horrifying amalgamates of heroes and villains, and that's exactly how I would play with them. Other bionicles would watch on in fear as their fallen comrades would rise again, now an unholy mix-mash of soul and machine as the mixed ones themselves would wish they would have never had prayed to their lords to make them rise again. Bionicles on both sides would sob internally as they were forced to slay their own men, beings thought to have no fear or weakness bent to realistic woes. It was a big, nasty lesson of "be careful what you wish for".
Haha yeah I somehow missed that when recording. That would help with stability a lot. Still I'm sure without the tail the minifig hand and piston wouldn't be enough to always hold it up, so the tail is still a big help.
As much as I love the design of this build, I admire the building techniques just as much. Especially the arms and torso. Never in my life would I have thought about using springs from those shooter pieces
Thanks for the shoutout! I'll share a little secret: you know how the friends bow has a small pin connection? Thats attached to a sliver of cut flex tube to attach it to the ccbs shell
@dfprod. I actually don't know haha, jack did it while I wasn't looking. But I would guess it's because there isn't a bow piece with a bar connection, and accessory pins fit inside flex tube, so a small amount of flex tube works as an adaptor between the two connections

The head is more or less the same on both, it's just an arrangement of 1x1 brackets. You should be able to see the lines between plates if you look at the high quality photos on Flickr. Also note that the neck on the chibi is a bootleg part that Lego doesn't make, it's a mixel socket on a pin

7:06 this isn't the only time this happened, there is a guy called maxbrick who made lego skibidi toilet mocs and a bootleg used his moc without permission too
With the feet, it looks like in some poses they popped in minifigure hands on one side to add a bit more surface area to avoid slipping, so that also helps with the stability.
They actually always have the minifigure hands in at least one side. It's surprisingly easy to get to stand with just those without relying on the tail.
from waht i can tell, though i could be wrong this moc has a lot of broken pieces used in it, as in the springs and pistons, as the legs are not the original poston, and look to have been ripped in half, with the original black part removed and then being replaced with an axel and another similar looking piece added to the foot, with the spring then re added to it. Similarly again it could be niche, but the springs on the torso are not natural lego parts, but would need to be torn form Pistons, as well as the spring on the tail. i don't mind custom none lego originating solutions at all, but it feels very bad if to achive a wanted result you need to break pieces, rather then find an alternate way to achive a similar result.

bro i keep seeing this cool ass robot cat on pinterest, but i only ever see like 2 or 3 pics of it, and ngl i got kinda excited thinking this was gonna be a like "how to build" for this thing, but still nice that you at least say what most of these pieces come from (like the hydraulics pieces lol) makes it easier to find it on brick link, I DO however wish that Jack would've made a bricklink order list and brick studio instructions to go along with it, but i can also understand that he wouldnt want people to copy his design, but it's such a good design to not want to build it yourself

With the feet, it looks like in some poses they popped in minifigure hands on one side to add a bit more surface area to avoid slipping, so that also helps with the stability.
They actually always have the minifigure hands in at least one side. It's surprisingly easy to get to stand with just those without relying on the tail.

I noticed in some of the shots, it does kind of have feet. Though not full-on actual feet, just the little sign paddle pieces.

from waht i can tell, though i could be wrong this moc has a lot of broken pieces used in it, as in the springs and pistons, as the legs are not the original poston, and look to have been ripped in half, with the original black part removed and then being replaced with an axel and another similar looking piece added to the foot, with the spring then re added to it.
Similarly again it could be niche, but the springs on the torso are not natural lego parts, but would need to be torn form Pistons, as well as the spring on the tail.
i don't mind custom none lego originating solutions at all, but it feels very bad if to achive a wanted result you need to break pieces, rather then find an alternate way to achive a similar result.
