Back in the day, it was Etho who taught me everything (I still love Etho, don't get me wrong), but with modern Minecraft, I'm learning the most from you, Eyecraftmc!
In my most recent world, I happened upon an Ocean Monument underneath a frozen ocean. Two things I learned: 1. It makes planning a raid on it significantly easier. 2. Polar Bears are major jerks. Even if you are nowhere near their cubs, they'll start coming after you and will _never_ stop following you until you unload the chunk or kill everything. At least they're a decent source of fish.
Polar bears in real life will actively hunt and kill any humans they encounter. There’s even a law in a small town in Canada full of polar bears that says you can’t lock your car doors so that people getting stalked by bears can jump in and protect themselves. So I guess Minecraft is mirroring real life again.
Very interesting. Oceans tend to be overlooked, people just looking for the squids, the temples, and to be careful of drowned... But all this variety is very cool.
Sir your guides are refreshingly relaxing, knowledgeable, and very interesting to watch. I appreciate that your videos aren't loud or obnoxious, like most MC videos tend to be.
I assume some others have already said this before, but I honestly enjoy watching these videos not only for the great content and information provided, but also for the voice. It's honestly very soothing, fitting for Minecraft as well as informational videos. Keep up the good work!
I recently started a new survival world, and these guides are really helpful! The ocean has been the main source of resources for me for a long time now
wow you taught me something new because with the sea pickle one with bonemeal i have never heard about that! you have to be the best MC information channel ever because other channels are like say with shriekers and the fact that you cant summon wardens with manmade ones because you always hear that it gets monotonous thank you so much!
One feature that should definitely be in Minecraft is the ability to use bonemeal to grow coral and coral fans into large coral clusters in which they are made of coral blocks that match the color with the coral they were grown from. It would work just like saplings, mushrooms and Nether fungi. That way, players can easily make their own coral reefs without having to dismantle an already existing one or having to waste emeralds obtaining many coral blocks from a Wandering Trader.
I like how you go through both versions. I had no idea about anything to do with MC until last year, except my kid loved it and watched Hermitcraft. It was suggested that the way I played Sims 4 made it likely I would fall in love with MC, if I could get past the blocky nature of the art. That was true, and I am devoted to MC now. But I bought Windows first, because the website was completely devoid of bias and didn't even tell me why there were 2 versions. I had an older computer and thought maybe one made specifically for Windows would be best. As I progressed and got stuck, I found almost nothing but java tutorials. I gave in after a month and bought Java. Then a few months later, both came for your computer for one price (of course after I paid.) Anyway, I checked in on my windows world after updates and to see the differences myself. All this to say thanks for info on both.
Hey Eyecraftmc, I've stumbled upon your guides very recently and I've immediately fallen in love with how complete and enjoyable they are; that I've been binging them goes without saying. I thought I'd drop this comment to say thank you very much and to let you know that your style works really well imho, in particular I enjoy the very relaxed and laid back way of talking you have, which somehow manages to pack in every useful bit of information without ever sounding like you're rushing. I think I want to learn to talk like you, lmao. But yeah, thanks and keep it up!
amazing video as always. another thing that's useful for ocean exploration is a pair of depth strider 3 boots, as it makes navigating around the ocean much much quicker.
Absolutely excellent video. Im a new Minecraft player, just started playing (and dying numerous times 😂) about a week ago. I was impressed the first time i saw a coral reef, which was absolutely huge. So i searched here to find more info on these interesting areas.
Always something to learn here, so many details to this game. My world has a lot of ocean and have been enjoying the exploration. Used magma cubes for breathing early game and have salvaged most of the shipwrecks in the area. Having late game items makes things easier and now allows me to start swimming down aquifers to mine and just explore. Grew up on Guam so nostalgic for the ocean I guess. World seed ( 2436614330576570900 ) if anyone is looking to get all but frozen ocean near spawn, though you can take a boat to the frozen oceans.
Yes!!! I been waiting for this! I like to build and explore the oceans and make islands that go down to the bottom. Im more interested in the underwater structures.
Honestly, I love your videos and how you go into so much detail about everything about the topic you're covering. I've learned SO MUCH from your videos!!!
I have a question: When I press F3 + B it doesn't turn on hitboxes I've tried other things like Fn + F3 + B but it still doesn't work. Could you do a video on how to fix it?
I kinda take for granted the normal ocean features but when I see underwater surfaces prior to update 1.13 I want to vomit . And the coral reefs are one of the best looking places in Minecraft
i always liked 1.13 and i think a lot of people like it too because oceans were too bland and feel empty and imo 1.13 upgraded the oceans but i still think that oceans are still a little empty.
I love your work my friend ! I subscribe also with this account, I hope you reach more people ♥ like you inspire me to grow my small channel, although I still have a long way to go. ♥ SUCCESSES and greetings from Argentina ♥
4:38 Minor correction here: I don’t know about Java, but on bedrock, items now float to the surface(or will attempt to as they can get stuck under horizontal surfaces). This update was added way back around the time the Aquatic update was released. Unfortunately I believe this was after they stopped supporting the Xbox 360/PS3/Wii U editions.

Same back in the day Etho was the god. Red stone , FTB, and just general knowledge and cool things nobody knew
I didn’t know that bonemealing sand in the warm ocean can give you coral. Thanks for such an informative video!

Wow I had been wondering how you would easily build something in the ocean, that Lilly pad fact was kind of mind-blowing.
I recently started a new survival world, and these guides are really helpful! The ocean has been the main source of resources for me for a long time now

Your welcome and definitely bonemealing sea pickles is a really great feature!

In real life fertilizers actually lead to coral die-offs and bleaching.
You blew my mind with this. There’s so much info that I never knew about oceans.
That's wild bro
Your Welcome!

I'm so happy your enjoying them and it definitely took me a long time to establish my commentary style and quality :)
@@Eyecraftmc That's good to know, it really shows. Or, listens...? 🤔
I really liked the 1.13 update, they were pretty boring before.
Same here, definitely one of my favorite updates

Gotten back into Minecraft recently, I’ve been binging ur vids, thanks for making quality
Depth Strider III is a life-saver for exploring the ocean!
I also didn't know there was a chance for whole Blue Ice Icebergs.. That would be awesome to find.
OHHH NICE!! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE FOR SO LONG! (I asked for it in one of your live streams, and here it is)!
Make a firework guide please

Such a nice voice and manner of speaking. Love it! Back to minecraft after several months and need to get knowledge from you!!

The most informative and really high quality guides out there.
the video I needed the most lately
Just started playing Minecraft and love the channel even though I'm still lost on alot of the information.
Love your channel, they are SO informative, you have definitely become the standard in my eyes for Minecraft content tbh 🔥
you always do such an awesome job in your videos! love it!
1.7 1.13 1.16 1.18 have changed the game forever
Honestly, I love your videos and how you go into so much detail about everything about the topic you're covering. I've learned SO MUCH from your videos!!!
Literally exactly what I needed such a coincidence. Amazing content as usual I hope you get everything you deserve
Great video as always!
I'm ready for the next stream Eye!
There should be one this week :D
Thank you so much for making this video 😊. I didn't knew many things about ocean
You forgot about depth strider enchantment for boots
I love the content! Keep up the good work
Awesome video as always! Can you maybe do one about all the food in Minecraft 1.19?
I love collecting the tropical fish 🐠
Same here!
Yes my favorite Minecraft UA-camr 🔥
Thank you!
i love your videos, thank you!!
Now I know how to farm sea pickle thanks!
this was a great video to test my new 4k monitor on 😎
Very good video, like all the other ones
Thank you very much!
Thank you !
Np!
Quality content ty!!!
What the squid doing?
Oceans are the true treasures of Minecraft. Like if you agree all disagree.
I had a seizure reading that
I agree :D
@@Albert3939-s7q that was my intention 🤣
@@Remigrator ah sorry my dude
Not tryna spread native energy
I just didn't get it
Take care bye
@@Albert3939-s7q native 😂
I love games with detailed oceans many just do the bare minium
Smelting underwater, never even crossed my mind as something to do
instead of using night vision potion you can use a suspicious stu, crafted with a mushroom a red mushroom a bowl and a rose
I feel like there should be more incentive in the game to explore deep in the ocean for long amounts of time ( there should be a deep ocean update )
Can you make an hardcore beginner guide plz, i always die in the nether
SUPER KOOL VIDEO!!!
!! havent been this early before !(uploaded 44mins ago) good morning, good night and good evening to all
Nice!
Maybe there should be a 6th ocean type; hot ocean, devoid of life, just like how it once was.
If you want to know everything, ask this man
I have a question: When I press F3 + B it doesn't turn on hitboxes I've tried other things like Fn + F3 + B but it still doesn't work. Could you do a video on how to fix it?
Do you know how generate a only ocean map on Bedrock? I dream to play a ocean survival game.
Subnautica is a good ocean survival game
@@Schizz_Popinov Somebody say that, other say I prefer play MC.
Correction, since 1.18, drowned can spawn in warm ocean biomes as well.
Hi
That's cute. Folks still say drownding.
In terms of hostile Ocean mobs, we could use one more. I would love to see the Tropical Slime in base game, what about you?
now if I could just not get lost in the underwater caves
I kinda take for granted the normal ocean features but when I see underwater surfaces prior to update 1.13 I want to vomit . And the coral reefs are one of the best looking places in Minecraft
If you're in the ocean just bring doors and an axe so you can breathe underwater anytime
Alternative Title: Dolphin Appreciation Video
A polar bear got in my boat without consent and killed me without any provocation and baby presence.
There are predators for the chickens and rabbits on land there should be predators for the normal fish ( do dolphins eat them ? )
Is there any seed finder for mobile version(android)
i always liked 1.13 and i think a lot of people like it too because oceans were too bland and feel empty and imo 1.13 upgraded the oceans but i still think that oceans are still a little empty.
Certain ocean biomes are a bit empty for sure, although to be fair a lot of oceans can seem fairly empty in real life too
@@Eyecraftmc yeah
So the smoker now needs acacia logs and crimson hyphae to craft, why.
is there a way to trap an enderman on bedrock
Redston door plz
Someone needs to tell this guy how to say "drowning" correctly
What's your favourite ocean biome guys?
I love coral reefs!
I hate oceans in everygame I play
They're just terrifying
“Drownding”
