What country is she from? I love her accent

Don’t listen to women if you are a man. No breakfast is the best breakfast
Yeah it really helps my neurophatic pain.. no sugar,, less sugar
I'm diabetic and I've followed her eating plan for 3 months. My A1C went down from 7.2 to 6.2. I have also lost 25 pounds.
Wow! I feel so happy for you!
Bro her Mae pan had nothing to do with you looking weight you were just eating less calories
Lost another 3 pounds since my original comment. I'm actually eating more calories now, but most of it is from protein. I eat a lot for breakfast: 3 egg omelette with cheese, spinach and tomatoes, left over chicken or beef from the night before and a small dinner roll (no jam or jelly), and a cup of black coffee. I feel full and have no cravings to snack during midday. Before I followed her plan, I usually had 1 egg, 2 rolls with spoons full of jam, a piece of fruit with yogurt or oatmeal, coffee with milk and a teaspoon of sugar and I would have cravings after 2 hours. Her plan worked for me so I'm eating more savory and feeling fuller and better. My cholesterol and Blood pressure also went down after my check up. I actually eat more now and am happier because I don't feel deprived. The only downside is that I feel I'll have to buy new clothes in 2 more months. Thank you for your help ma'am.
👏👏👏👏
This advice has been a game changer! The daily sugar cravings have dramatically declined. Thank you so much.
Same here
It’s hardly a game changer, please calm down
Having high protein meal in breakfast, always made me tired throughout the day.
I started having a lot of fruits, yogurt, sometimes smoothies made with a lots of fruits, Greek yogurt, nut butter.
I kept me full all day and I stopped feeling sleepy and tired throughout the day.
Not sure if it’s another new trend but please follow whatever your body is accepting.
Her point though is removing sugars in your breakfast. Personally, I can't tolerate juices, sugar laden granola, etc.
My experience is the complete opposite 😂😅
Everyone's body is different and greener bananas not ripe
That’s exactly what I have for breakfast. Actually I do start with a serving of walnuts and chia seed water which is high in protein and fiber. Then about an hour later I have fruit smoothie with Greek yogurt, berries and dates. It’s the only way I can get my RDA of all the nutrients. And I feel great and my blood sugar is normal. Been doing this for 15 years at least.

I love porridge in the morning and its changed my life for the better! I dont know but for me it doesn't lead to any sweet cravings... I feel satisfied and nourishes until lunch and dont need any meal in between. 😊 food is not a one fits all issue. If we look at Ayurevda its very individual.
Edit: I'd like to add that porridge doesn't mean plain oats, milk and sugar to me. I make different varieties, also with different whole grains, i add various soaked seeds, soaked nuts, digestive spices, optionally only a small amount of natural sugar, depending on the fruit i add, i boil them also (eg apple, apricot, plums etc). I also add ghee in fall Or winters.

Avacado toast on sourdough bread with two slices of bacon and sprinkled black pepper and salt and squeeze a bit of lime. Can’t go wrong
We always have savory breakfast in India. I am still as amazed as I was when I first found out that people around the world eat sweet stuff for breakfast. I can't imagine that here.
I grew up in Thailand, quite culturally similar to yours. It still doesn't make sense to me when I have to eat donuts as breakfast. That's my snack after breakfast, not breakfast 😂
I'm the opposite. I'm Italian and we have sweet breakfast. I could try savoury breakfast but the idea of cooking in the morning with smells etc makes me nauseous
As a Sri Lankan, this is also a big yes in my country as well. People always ate a savory breakfast in the past which most of the times contained Coconut Sambal (Fat) left over fish curry from previous day (protein) and Red rice (carbs) orelse Fermented rice from previous day mixed with coconut milk ,onions and green chillies..

On the contrary, the savoury cooking aromas will whet up an appetite. Nothing like the aroma of fresh idlis steaming with coconut chutney n Sambhar boiling away or the fresh fragrance of dosa or paratha being roasted with home made ghee.

Yes, and my grandmother would have a piece of fruit after a meal. Cake was something you served when company came over. My other grandmother taught me the 2 cookie rule.

Oh, I love this lady. Her ACB before meal hack helped me a lot aside from losing weight, I noticed I have more energy the entire day and less sugar cravings. She’s a legend ❤️
I am with her-I ALWAYS ALWAYS eat dinner leftovers for breakfast. Started doing it cuz I waited tables all through my 20’s and would bring home food from the restaurant for morning. Raw honey is amazing. Also called an anti diabetic agent in studies.

People forget- everything in moderation.
Yeah I kind of hate how some people even professionals say fruit is bad and it’s sugar - well it’s natural sugar. And I was told by someone who trains as a runner, that having fruit in the morning is safer for digestion. If you have all your 3 meals then have a portion of fruit at night then your digestion will slow down and you’ll have a bad stomach.
Her tips have totally transformed my health and my life... I wish I could give her a hug!!!! Do yourself a massive favour and get her book... It's worth billions!!!
Thank you. I don't have diabetes or prediabetes, but up to 80% of us still get blood sugar spikes. A bullet may miss, but a shotgun cartridge may not. What I mean is that a combination of methods is surely better than only one. So, I have now learned to take a spoon of vinegar in water within 30 minutes before eating. Rinse mouth to protect tooth enamel afterwards. Then eat veggies first, protein second and carbohydrates last. Within 30 minutes after a meal I do 40 squats, 40 push ups and 40 pull-ups on a 45-degree machine I have. Or I just run on the spot (stationary running) for a few minutes sometimes instead. I also add some very simple accupressure moves that are featured for diabetics here on UA-cam by a Japanese lady. UA-cam search 'accupressure diabetes' to find it. Feeling better and better. Stay positive and beat this into remission.
Congratulations on your journey to a better health without glucose spikes and fatigue.
Really? There's such a thing as Accupresure Diabetes? 🤔
This is great advice. Always prioritize protein, whole foods, water, quality sleep, & sunlight on as much bare skin as possible (not to the point of burning).
With due respect to this video information:
One serving of Oatmeal has 4 g of fiber, most of them solvable fiber. Only two over-the-counter cereals have soluble fibers, according to a doctor specialist in Canada.
Oatmeal with flax seeds and blueberries added seem close to a perfect healthy breakfast to me.
She probably wouldn't have an issue with that breakfast as long as you add some protein and healthy fat to it
She probably would have an issue with that breakfast, but that's just because she demonizes any kind of sugar.
Today at 11AM, 2 eggs scrambled with spinach garlic and feta, in 3 small 0 carb wrap, 2 bacon strips, quarter of avocado. Hot tea. 5 pm still not hungry. Did throw out the 0carb wraps, after eating, read label. They use hydrogenated soybean oil. Really gotta read them labels. No sugar crash, though.
I used to eat bread for breakfast every morning. For the last few months, barring a holiday abroad, I have 3 eggs with sea salt and pepper. No deviations. At the moment, it's scrambled, but I have also had a phase of poached with chilli flakes.

@Imsaved777 untrue there are plenty of foods with no sugar
My breakfast as a vegan lifter
60g oats
200g almond milk or soy for more protein
Choice of protein powder
10g raw organic cacao powder
32g natural peanut butter
5 dates
100g banana
Maple syrup
Mixed spice
I don’t really use protein powder but I get 150g protein each day through 100% whole foods loads of fruit and veg and wholegrains.
I also like to add silken tofu to my soy milk and blend it together to increase protein massively or you can just mash it up in your oats
Bummer for you!!!
Sounds delicious but super high calories 😂
32g of PB = 200kal + 57g of Protein powder (scoop size ) = 110kal + 200g of AM = 30kal + 60g of oats = 200kal + 10g of Organic cacao = 190 + 100g banana = 89kal + 5 dates at 1 unit kal each =300 = 1,119k breakfast

Well I do intermitent fasting 16/8 so I skip breakfast I go to the gym early and do my workouts will fasting. I break my fasting period in the afternoon. I've stopped having sugur, alcohol, white cereal, processed industrial foods, high glucemic index fruit, honey, and fruit juices. I've reduced my abdominal perimeter 5 cm in 2 years. Healthy as ever. 😊
I get it! I learned that if I have something sweet at breakfast, I'm chasing sweetness throughout the day. I do so much better when I hold off on the sweet taste and instead have soup for breakfast or seasoned potates with veg...or rice and veg. Fruit is good. It doesn't trigger me.
none of the nutritionists have said this before...she is absolutely right about the fructose and sugar spikes..having smoothies in the morning is the worst way ...always always start the day with a healthy protein and that is good health...
I'm going to have a huge muffin slathered in butter and a huge cup of coffee with honey..
Iced coffee and baked goods just hit different
My go to breakfast is savory oats, with miso, soy sauce, tofu and a bunch of mushrooms
Having leftover dinner is Breaking the fast..
No thinking or cooking, just breakfast...Awesome!!!
If not the case I'll default to almond butter toast.. and banana...sweets early on is unhealthy... coffee with honey , half n half is my guilty pleasure...no matter what... figs kill a sweet tooth, prebiotic fiber as well...
She's on point...
That’s true. Since I eat protein - I am so much more energy. Also coffee 2 hours after wake up. Game changers
It also depends on the fibers you eat while having a breakfast. Seeds and nuts putting in your sweet breakfast helps. Yoghurt with small portion of fruit and 10 grams of each seed for example chiaseeds, flaxseeds or pumpkinseeds and 1 kind of nuts like almonds, walnuts or brazil nuts is great. They help lower your glucose spike. For losing weight go easy on the nuts. Yiu can meave them out.
Thank you for the reminder; doctors have been telling us protein is very important in the mornings. This reminds me of certain diets circulating years ago.
Everything comes full circle right?

But seriously, I don‘t have the time or energy to cook omlettes and stuff in the morning on a working day. I could only do this on the weekends.
I can cook scrambled eggs in the same amount of time it takes me to make porridge.
You can make hard cooked eggs the night before. I make Scotch eggs and that's breakfast to go. My mom raised us on that and pizza rustica for breakfast.
That’s a very healthy breakfast. Oats are a superfood and contain beta glucan which lowers blood glucose and cholesterol. Fruits are super healthy and full of anti inflammatory anti oxidants and fibre.

That's pretty much a habit in India. Very few people here eat sweet breakfast.
I have adrenal PCOS with some insulin sensitivity, and my morning blueberry with collagen smoothie (no banana or starches) makes me feel amazing and I’m not hungry for atleast a couple of hours…but I must admit, the best and most fulfilling breakfast I eat is 2 scrambled eggs. I’m literally full for like, 4+ hours
That's what I do savoury every morning and with my child as well!
I tried to have a more savory breakfast and it doesn’t work for me. I usually make oats, with milk, fruit, usually blueberries, raspberries, mango or cherries, and add honey and almond butter. For a few days I tried to eat something savory like omelette and in the evening I always had cravings for sugar, chocolate and so on. I switch back to my sweet breakfast and the cravings went away. My message with this: try a few different things and find out what works for you. Our bodies and lives are so different so of course we need different things. Have a happy day!
I need my fruits. Fruits eases my anxiety, fills me up and gives me lots of endorphins. Happy people are healthily carbed and sugared up.
My breakfast is one slice whole grain bread with peanut butter, cup of coffee and one banana.
Everything in moderation. Also, if you want sweet, opt for plain greek yogurt you can flavor with some honey, stevia, fruits, etc. so you can control the sweetness. I like mine with coconut milk chia seed pudding, strawberries, banana sliced, purple muskat grapes, flax seed powder, pumpkin seeds, and sometimes I take a cheese grater to a mini chocolate bar above it if I'm feeling fancy.
Now her advice goes very well with Indian breakfast we South Indian eat savoury for breakfast.
