Miss Debbie, I have customized my fish cakes (that’s what we bajans call them) to suit me. Just like you I don’t boil, I boil the water and pour it on the fish and let it soak, a few times depending on how salt the fish is. I love them hot, hot🤣🤣 we don’t put garlic or tomatoes, just fresh thyme, onions and hot pepper. I enjoy seeing the different ways other people make their dishes, and I don’t understand why some people have a problem understanding that everybody can do their own version of a dish. Keep doing you Debbiedebs. I would eat one of your fritters right now❤️💚💙💜
My mum is from Jamaica and my dad was Bajan, however I prefer Jamaican fritters to the fishcakes. I find fishcakes too thick and puffy. Plus I find them much more flavoursome. We all do things differently. Enjoy❤ Love both cuisines 🇯🇲🇧🇧
Girlfriend, thank you. Authentic and original diva .Do your thing dread. I love your expressions. Love from Jenny in Grenada original English bajans girl 😀
Excellent production, Miss Debbie. I still have not perfected my saltfish fritters. But watching your video, has inspired me, to continue to strive for the perfect saltfish fritters. I like mine with eggs.
Lady you are the real deal!!! You’ve thought me so much!!!! I can always smell and taste the food all the way here in NYC Lol. Happy holiday to your family. People contribute and keep her encouraged
I made some yesterday Ms Debs all I use is self raising flour already comes with baking powder some fresh thyme some spring onions we call them in UK or scallions scotch bonnet regular grated onions a bit of jerk seasoning and a little tomato ketchup for extra taste a few pieces of red pepper and that's it no eggs. But as long as they are all tasty it doesn't matter and must have a lot of salt fish in them. You a great teacher. Big up camera girl.Uk💕 manners and respect.
