Interesting how a lot of the points Djokovic wins (especially pre-2017) are won at the net. Multiple times he pulls out a drop shot and Nadal runs onto it but either pushes his short shot too far or fails to get a good angle on his volley and Djokovic is able to read and get to it easily

Fun retrospective, to see the greatest and third greatest of all time against one another. I put Federer ahead of Nadal for his more comprehensive wins, and Federer was never a quitter, and more than a few times Nadal was. Always "injury" but at times he just appeared beaten and pulled a Henin. You see, who talks about her anymore? She made tennis the gift that was to give to her first and only and when it didn't pan out that way, she quit. She held up her hand and then lied about it. Instant replay exposed the lie as it happened. She was the child who woke to hear the rest of the family already awake on christmas morning, and cries instead of joining the fun. Nadal seemed to have more than a touch of that. Coupled, surely, with real injuries. So he gets, I think, a bit more of a pass than he deserves simply for at times being unprofessional in a way that is damaging to the sport. Federer, to my mind, never put himself ahead of the sport, and certainly never quit. The three Paragons, who without a single question were the greatest to play, and all at nearly the same time... To have compiled such records in the midst of one another... what a privilege it was to witness the grandeur of the best that can be offered to date. (The sport always progresses.) But the greatest, beyond question, is Djokovic. He has the DOD media against him, probably because of guilt over actions taken to balkanize Serbia, Croatia, Czech Republic. Upon reflection, what a gracious and generous soul Mr Djokovic turns out to be. And as stated by someone in a position to know a lot about the subject, it was stated on a Grand Slam Court that Djokovic is the greatest to have held a racquet. And so it is. Not even my favorite, because when the media is so wholly aligned against someone, the best most can muster is no opinion. Crowd reactions are a testament to the power of media. I look forward to the day when Mr Djokovic is able to reflect upon his life and his country and speak freely. We live in a time where that is frowned upon. Novak Djokovic is better than Nadal! Nole have most masters, will win 100+ titles 26+ slams, most years at number one most final masters, will win most Wimbledon titles! He is GOAT!
THE media propaganda bashing against novak begings since the 2015 Wimbledon final and the best thing of all is that Novak has been playing his best tennis since the 2015 Wimbledon final = NOVAK WON all 4 grandslams in a row on 3 different surfaces from wimbledon 2015 to the french open 2016, which was unprecedented in tennis history and he has won 13 grandslams since then. SO DEAR MEDIA, we DJOKOVIC FANS thank you very much for making our novak so good with your propaganda...............NO TO BAD..
They are quite tied at the moment, Novak has 38 ATP 1000 compared to 36 of Nadal. Rafa has the gold medal while Novak has 6 ATP finals. If things stay, I believe Novak will be slight greater in this debate but FO is likely to be a decider for them
@Víctor Manuel Bustamante Alvarez unfortunately those 1000s no1s or any 3 set stats u are saying is only imp to u. But in mens tennis 5set stats is wat matters. It's not wta. 2:10 Novak's walk back to the baseline is just "I'm so sick of this dumb game."
I read the title as 22 factorial and expected to see a lot more points.
At the time I'm watching it there are 220k views
Overall games: Djoko leads by 30-29
Overall Finals: Djoko leads 15-13
Masters & GS: Nadal leads 11-7
Finals of Masters & GS: Nadal leads 5-4
Hard Court: Djoko leads 20-7
Grass Court: Tied at 2-2
Clay Court: Nadal leads 20-8
Esto cuando fue?
Djokovic is the GOAT right now
Tied with nadal . As both are on 22.
If u want to bring 3 setters stats watch wta
They are quite tied at the moment, Novak has 38 ATP 1000 compared to 36 of Nadal. Rafa has the gold medal while Novak has 6 ATP finals. If things stay, I believe Novak will be slight greater in this debate but FO is likely to be a decider for them
@Víctor Manuel Bustamante Alvarez unfortunately those 1000s no1s or any 3 set stats u are saying is only imp to u.
But in mens tennis 5set stats is wat matters. It's not wta.
So let's take the gs tie
But rafa is clearly the goat as he surpasses novak in other 5set stats like
Gs h2h 11 7
Golden career slam
Fewer gs taken to achieve 22.
So there is ur answer why people rate Rafa as goat
I'm Spaniard but for me the greatest ever is Novak. We will never see anything again like Novak, Rafa and Roger but Djokovic is the one that ended having the best records and stats, but even if I recognise Djokovik as the best my favourite will always be Rafa Nadal, his fighting spirit is truly inspiring, the best Spanish athlete of all time.
Who is looking forward to a Nadal vs Djokovic rematch at RG for a 23rd Grand Slam Title??
Who doesn't?
12 on clay vs Nadal.... Amazing...
Djovovic a goat Nadal a lion!
Djoko Goat
I would not disagree with Nadal saying that Federer was his greatest rival as everything began with Federer, but in terms of pure intensity of tennis, Djoko-Nadal rivalry is certainly the greatest.
to think about this rivalry which will keep on in 2024, last year for Nadal (?), Historic, of course Alcaraz mostly, will disturbed the "plan"
Two of the BIG Three!
Please God.. let these warriors be 100% fit and ready for one last epic French final against each other !
A verdade é que nunca haverá uma rivalidade como essa no tenis, é como se fosse messi x Cr7 ! Eles dois em alto nivel não tem outro tenista que chegue perto !
Rafa=the greatest defensive skills ever
Novak=the greatest returner ever
Rafa defeated so called GOAT 29 times
Que reto mas sangriento👍🏻
