I'm just so glad to see the big food companies haven't squashed you yet. When you're ready to retire please sell to another farmer. We need you more than ever now.
One of his children will take over the farm. When the drone was going over the trees they looked like broccoli. I didn't know the big barn had a door on the other end. It was great watching the hay being cut.
I seldom ever make comments but watching this video with the panoramic views of the farm and miles of lush forest and green fields was most encouraging and nurtures my near dead feeling of optimism about our shared future. Thank you. I needed that.
What’s wrong with a person who doesn’t have a farm, never rode a tractor, doesn’t know much about raising farm animals, etc. become addicted to Pete’s videos? I think nothing’s wrong. It’s so natural to be in awesome nature God created for us. It’s a delight to ride along with you Pete. 😍
I'd say you do have a farm, with a great couple to do the work. Just sit back and enjoy, when something breaks or ya look out next morning after cutting and the rain is pouring down just let the manager deal with it. Sometimes it the best way to have a farm, sometimes.

Good morning Pete and Hillary. I can't say it enough how much we enjoy your videos. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to share your wonderful videos with us. 😊
Whoever is your drone operator does a fantastic job and it’s particularly satisfying with haying. I think the sickle mower would be a good candidate for a small restoration project. And your change in storing the hay i think is a great idea. I often wondered how you managed the rotation to make sure none of it stores too long and loses all nutritional value. Love the haying videos. They are so relaxing
Pete operates the drone himself. He has a higher optioned, “follow me” drone, that uses GPS and visual technology that can be set up to fly within certain height and distances of the operator. They are higher dollar drones, but give wonderful results making Pete’s videos so great!
Proper use of your hat after that humor! Have a great rest of the week and hay, thanks! I hope viewers appreciate all the extra work you and your family do to get the variety of shots in your videos! Back in the day, those shots would need helicopter rental, crane rental, rigs for cameras, etc. Now, its just a camera or two, a drone and a computer. Oh and good shots, audio and edits. Thank you for a wonderful morning video with my coffee!
Once again...best ever video in every aspect Pete & Hilarie! In 20 minutes you have made my day chock full of the best of everything that is good. Now I'm ready to tackle the chores for today, feeling relaxed, positive and happy! All thanks to you! PS: You sure got me when you stopped your mowing for a minute and looked like you just remembered to tell us something important you had forgotten. I waited with bated bresthe! And then......oh no another dad's joke to crack me up....." in tents" no less! That was sure a "gotcha' moment" on me and a bonus point for you, Pete! 🤣 Thanks for all you do for all of us on this planet!
Pete - Thanks for all the great videos. You have proved beyond a 'shadow of doubt' the Crops (Grass) are Green and the TRACTORS ARE RED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The bulls sure have a sweet set up in the new addition! Sunshine to lay in, fresh breeze and nice dry shelter. The good and gentle life. That tractor sounds so sweet! I'll trade ya' a couple hours at the desk for a couple hours on the tractor. Deal? Take a break buddy-- I'll mow a while. Go start up the barbecue!
Awesome video pete chickens look good cattle look awesome and always nice to see you cut your hay fields with your oldschool tractors thank you for sharing blessings to you and your family
Pete, I love to see the finger lakes’ big puffy clouds. I grew up just across the lake from you on a dairy farm. The experiences I had cutting hay are indelibly pressed into my mind and who I am. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
I've watched all of your first cuttings, and this one was definitely the most aesthetically pleasing. The wind on the grass from the drone shots was par excellence.
I think I enjoy watching you cut hay as much as you do cutting it. It brings back childhood memories of watching my uncle cutting the field across the road from our house with his AC WD and a sickle bar mower. I still remember the smell of fresh cut hay and a freshly baled field.
It looks so easy. Just driving😅. But I know it isn’t. That was a colorful, lively, eventful and interesting video. Again. Thank you and good luck with the drying.
Hay making season is always fun. I love mowing and raking hay. And the smell is the best, thank you for sharing. I hope you have great weather and can get it all in without delay. Have a great day and I'll see you later.
Thank you for letting me ride along while mowing hay. It was so relaxing. I can almost smell it. Reminds me of my childhood in the 50s and 60s with my parents on our farm. Thank you for sharing❤
I remember riding on (and occasionally driving) my uncle's 756. Those two long, narrow batteries always intrigued me. I gather they were pretty pricey compared to more usual sizes.
Thank you Pete! I really enjoyed this video from the beginning till the end. I love the way you work with your wife, the way both of you care for your animals and how they respond to your kindness care. And the mowing part was great. The aerial views were super. See you next time. Like Jack says you are a very talented man.
There's always something hypnotic and soothing about watching hay being mowed...there's something sublime about watching the process...One thing Pete, that I haven't heard you mention is how wonderful the fresh cut grass might smell...??
I have just started watching your story I am a old farm worker in the uk and it is the first time I have seen a grass reaper like yours working and what a lovely sounding tractor. I shall be watching a lot more
Good morning Mr Pete and to your lovely wife 🦋 The cluck-clucks are are in chicken party place 🥰. An d the herd is so sweet and mannerly, the calves will shape up👍 Great video , thanks for taking the time 😍
The inverted bean can on the muffler "caps-off" this (very enjoyable) video. I, too, enjoy haying, except it's always hot as blue blazes when you're doing it. Keep 'em comming, Pete!
One of my favorite things as a kid was when Grandpa would start his farmall 300 and blow the can off of the muffler. I think he did that when I was around just because he knew I liked it.
Most incredible drone flying i have seen in HD. Seeing the vibrant green turn in to a shimmering light green is insanely satisfying. It never gets old. Thanks Mr Pete!
Independent farming is so important to our American freedom that it should be considered a national security priority. The unrestricted access to so much and various food choices on an uninterrupted daily basis is nothing short of a miracle in the USA. Think of the many parts of farming: machinery and maintenance, 24/7/365 chores and unexpected occurrences, personal issues etc., too much to list. But, the job gets done. Before all other freedoms the freedom to eat every day is the most important because nothing else can be accomplished if there is hunger. Blessings to you, Pete, Hillary, family and all the other independent farmers and food producers that make our lives easier every day.

Hi Pete, when I first learned how to cut hay with a JD and a sickle bar, my 80 year old neighbor showed me his sawed off 210 gauge shotgun mounted on the side of his IH. I asked what's that for and he said "Gittin supper!" You have to be ready when any game pops out while cutting! 🙂
One of my favourite kind of videos of yours. So soothing. The only thing better would be riding along with you. 😂 I love your farm. The editing and drone shots are absolutely excellent as usual. God bless you and your family. ❤️
That triangle field is sure a gem. I worked a custom haying operation in my late teens, and how much fun it was. A lot of hard work, but outside. We baled square and halling them was the work. Wish I still had that energy now. Thanks, Pete
Love watching cutting hay. Money saved by using everything . I miss the market but understand the reasoning. Very calming and enjoyable day. Thank you for sharing....hi Hillary!😊

I don't think pete would accept any deal of any kind to quit farming
I doubt he's going to sell a 4th or 5th generation family farm
Maybe he'll kindly do a talk about it.

Really good visuals from the drone, puts the entire operation into focus and gives wonderful sights of the grass waving in the wind. Thanks Pete!
