The OOR concert with orchestra from 2018 is my personal favorite and from it the song “Ketsuraku Automation”. The “Day to Night Acoustic Sessions” concert from 2021 is also a very special experience. The acoustic version of “Mighty Long Fall” from this concert is simply stunning and so different from the normal live version. I definitely recommend this!
OOR is an international band. They have world tours and include North America all the time. They just had their luxury tour disease in LA last year in October. The NA tour included TX, FL, GA, NC, PA, MD, NY, MA, QC, ON, MI, OH, IL, MN, CO, UT, OR, BC, WA, CA. I just watched them live in Hongkong last month. I think their world tour is on its last leg this month. Hoping for more schedules next year.
ONE OK ROCK they have tours go to around the world. But if you want a real experience from watching them live you need to go see them at their home = Japan with crowd is another level !! I suggert some live To give you an example about Japan crowd . 1. ONE OK ROCK - Cry out [Official Video from AMBITIONS JAPAN DOME 2. ONE OK ROCK Take What You Want Ambitions JAPAN Dome Tour 2018 3. ONE OK ROCK - Taking Off [Official Video from Nagisaen]
Their passion is not driven by the number of people in their concerts. The passion is there, whether there's 50,000 or 800 and everything in between. They tour the us. I saw then last year in a 4000 people capacity venues and I tell you it was epic. I saw them in Oregon. I still have separation anxiety still. Please see them live if you can. They will transport you to a dimension you had no idea it existed. Keep reacting to them. They do not disappoint. Look for some fan cam videos of their luxury disease last year in the us. Thank you for reacting ❤❤❤
Taka is known by many as the treasure of Japan. Keep exploring their music. You won’t be bored. Each new song is a new experience. Also while I agree that majority of the live stuff is much better, don’t get locked into the mentality that their studio stuff isn’t good or you’ll miss out on a lot of fantastic OOR music. Cheers and welcome to the OOR rabbit hole. (Personal rec ending story live orchestra mix and his cover of Adele’s hello)
One ok rock does tour the US! The last time they were in the US was 2022. I went to their show and it's amazing, even in small venues! Definitely go see them live if you're able to.
The guys definitely tour the U.S. and you definitely need to catch them the next time they come. I've seen them a lot both in Japan and in the U.S. and they're incredible no matter the venue size. This one is my favorite concert moment: ua-cam.com/video/LSt2hBDz9ZQ/v-deo.html
I'll go ahead and recommend 2 songs, one of them is on the heavy side The title of the video would be: "ONE OK ROCK - Answer Is Near (アンサイズニア) + One by One 35XXXV JAPAN TOUR LIVE" And so the song titles are "Answer is Near" and "One by One" - the video has both of them with a seamless transition from their concert.
OOR tours the entire world. I've seen them twice in the US during their Luxury Disease tour, which is still going on. I have a feeling that their next world tour is going to be massive.
@@powbobs Next time they tour the US I think that I might follow them around and see them as many times as I could. I'm hoping to plan a trip to Japan to see them as well but because getting tickets to their shows in Japan can be a bit difficult since they sell tickets by lottery and not first come first serve like here.
@@powbobs Thankfully I do know that they set aside a certain amount of tickets for international fans, which should make things easier. So hopefully I can just enter the lottery for every concert of theirs in Japan and work around that. It would be awesome if they're touring at the same time as some other of my favorite Japanese bands like Nemophila, Bridear, or Coldrain. It would also be fun to find other OOR fans that nice be up for following them around when they're here again. I'm up in Buffalo NY so that's where I'll start looking, though I did live in MD so I'll probably work my way down there as well.
OOR is the only band that performs live concerts even better than recording so far... i love Taka's voice which so damn clear and very precise in their songs. How many lungs does he have? For this band, i always looking forward to watching their live concert performance rather than official music videos. The combination of guitarist, drummer, vocalist is just perfect!!! Arghhh!!! love them so much!!
Take What You Want Ambitions JAPAN Dome Tour 2018, Wasted Nights [Official Video from "EYE OF THE STORM" JAPAN TOUR], Renegades [2023 Luxury Disease Japan Tour]
We are - The Japanese part is sung as follows When the dream is over and I wake up. Hope and despair woke up at the same time. My reflection in the mirror asks the question Is there any meaning in deceiving myself and living? For those who do not know the lyrics
Bro, of course they went to the US to do concert 😂, They are the only Japanese rock band who dared to go international as it is their dream to be just like Linkin Park and others. The vocalist, Taka stayed in LA while the rest stayed in Japan. Hoping to see them with new album nex year. Btw, i just went to their concert last week and i havent move on from their greatness!
Please check out "Clock Strikes" from the Luxury Disease Japan Tour. Taka (vocals) did something amazing there! And "I was King" from the Orchestra Japan Tour. The music arrangement is epic!
Please make a part 3 with OOR combined with an orchestra! "I Was King" and "Stand Out Fit In" are highly recommended, "Wasted Nights" is also a banger!

I got to see them live in the US on their ambitions tour. Tickets were $20!!!! WTF? A friend from Japan almost flew over just to see them because they sell out in Japan and tickets are super expensive. Best $20 I have ever, and will ever spend in my life.
You will have to wait a while for them to go back to the US since they're on the Asia leg of the world tour now. I'll be going to see them tomorrow myself. When you can, I highly recommend going to one of their live shows. I've been to a few over the years, and all of them have been some of the best shows I've ever been to. The band is genuinely amazing live.
I love the fact that you noticed right away just how prominent the bass is (Ryota) and then how versatile Tomo (drums) is and noticeable live. They all are amazing, Taka brought me in with his voice (I found him on the Cheater Bennington tribute concert), but all the other three solidified me becoming am active listener. The slight changes in percussion (both bass -and more important - and drums) as the songs progress, keeps it different and engaging, just how they usually restraint at the beginnings and then Taka's grit comes, and Toru starts shredding. An all around band. Again, love from Argentina
By the way, it's super hard for foreigners to get their Japan concert ticket. They have an official fanclub in Japan that gets most of their pre-sale concert tickets by lottery system, and last I heard is that membership requires a Japanese address and mobile number; fanclub members can only apply for tickets from 2nd year of membership onwards. And once released to general public sale, the tickets get snapped up too. Super hard. So easier to aim for their USA tour.
I would recommend I was King live with an orchestra, Renegades live Luxury Disease tour, and Make it out Alive live at 1chance festival! Take what you want is a good choice too.
Just some live song recommendations to add on: 1) Taking Off, 2) Take what you want, 3) Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer Just attended 2 of their live here in South East Asia (Malaysia & Singapore) and they are a blast.
Thank you for watching ❤ If you like passion and working with the crowd you would like to watch paper planes live. For some heavier stuff - one by one, deeper deeper. And to know their funny side - dreamer, the one that they made during the COVID quarantine.😊
Nice reaction. Thanks for picking out the instruments. One Ok Rock is one of my three favorite Japanese bands, and has been for a few years, now. Love them live. My favorite of theirs is Take What You Want, live. My other two favorite bands are Band Maid and Wagakki Band. Strongly suggest you try those out. Wagakki Band is the most creative genre-breaking concepts out there (8 members, 3 rock and 5 traditional Japanese instruments). Band Maid is killing it, right now, and likely the best and most popular band in Japan at the moment. All of these bands feature outstanding vocals, great writing and the best instrumentalists around.
