Funfact, one ok rock spells as wan-oku-rokku in Japanese, it's the same spell as one o'clock. So back then they were always practicing at 1 am because it's the cheapest rent time for the studio.

One OK rock is not their original name. It was One o'clock since they are practing at 1AM because studios are much more cheaper in that time. But since Japanese can't pronounce letter "R" and "L" properly, the One o'clock turned into One o'krock then at time passes it became One Ok Rock. Agree to what you said btw. That the frontman is one of the reason why the band is special somewhat in some way. His vocals can really suit to whatever genre. He even covered HELLO of Adelle, Pillowtalk of Zayn and even A Thousand Miles.. If you want to hear more of Taka's scream, I recommend ONE BY ONE, ENDING STORY or even JUVENILE :)
