I just got stationed here this week and saw prong horn here in Colorado Springs just off 94
And people wonder why hunting's dwindling no longer can you load up with your friends to go hunting on the weekend
Can you hunt us forest lands in the unit you draw or do you have to get a special us forest permit to hunt those national forests?
You don't need anything special to hunt on national forest land
To hunt on any state of federal land all you need is access.
I was born in leadville! Hunting is so differant now and it sucks when we've hunted all of lives to seeing nothing!
Please no more people to this beautiful state… to many transplants already messing up the housing !!

I've hunted in Colorado for about 55 years. I can certainly tell you this is not all you need to know about hunting in Colorado.
Utah does not need an Utah specific hunters ed. Elk hunted in 2024 and they no longer require that
I've lived here since 96.. Never hunted.. Now I'm 51 and want to learn to hunt.. Getting my xdm elite 10mm and want to hunt with that.. Not a rifle..
Do us Colorado Springs natives a favor and don't move here. The city is not what it was even just 10 years ago and the hunting here is way overcrowded
