I’m in the process of doing the same setup with my factory headliner, though no with 80/20. Seeing how you approached this gave me some good ideas regarding attachment options. There are not many examples with a factory headliner. Thanks for sharing and providing the details. All the best with the remainder of your build and the adventures the van will bring.
Dad can you give me the dimensions of the horizontal and vertical bars? How did you make sure the horizontal bars ended up parallel to the floor and vertical bars perpendicular? The only difference between my build and yours is cargo vs. crew so my numbers will be a little different but overall the size of your overhead cabinets look proportional. Thank you.
The PVC spacers are cut with an angle to compensate and keep the frame level and plumb. 8.5 degrees for horizontal spacers and 2 degrees on the vertical. My vertical bars are 12.625” and horizontal are 10.5”
That’s a hex cap screw. I used stainless steel 1/4-20 (to match t-nut). It was either 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch length. Local hardware store will have it. Thanks for catching that I missed it in video description
Thanks for providing this video. Very helpful!
Thank you! I am glad it helped. Good luck with your build!

What is the diameter of your PVC spacers?
They are 1 inch diameter
@@DadsVan Great, thank you. I'm trying to do something similar. We'll see how it goes.
Good luck with your build!
