Gotta, say, Hugh was a great Oscar host. I was watching with my mom, who barely knew who he was, and we both enjoyed him a lot. He had the right vibe of coming off as confident rather than nervous, as well as seeming friendly toward those both in the audience there and watching at home.
Hugh Jackman is literally the comic accurate for Wolverine I remember as a kid I thought he was straight up a real wolverine from comics I’ve been reading he has the exact built and looks the biceps and his arms are so big

Ive known about Ryan Reynolds since Van Wilder. Never seen him before that, but when a Deadpool movie was mentioned in the news somewhere (Ryan Reynolds was not mentioned at the time- it was long before he was attached) immediately I knew who was perfect for it. He was rarely in good movies, but I knew he took acting seriously after I saw Buried. He was phenomenal in that. That movie is so good despite being mostly only in one place with one actor. I also, for some reason, used to think he was in the movie My Boyfriends Back where he played the zombie boyfriend, but i learned after many years that that wasnt him. I've known about Jackman since X-men. At the time I was mad because I thought only Jack Nicholson could possibly play Wolverine. No one else makes sense. Obviously Jackman turned out to be great in that, and every movie ive seen him in since.
These two are genuinely providing so much fun and joy and just plain good feelings of late that I'm worried something bad is going to happen to them during this press junket and deprive the world of their greatness.

You believe you saw everything, until you notice at 2:59 they are clipping the logo of the movie on Hugh's head just so he doesn't obscure it for that half a second, holy shit dude LOL
I'm wondering if it might just be a black screen issue: they're just in front of a black screen with the movie logo added in later, but that means that any part of Ryan or Hugh that's dark enough to appear black blends in and the movie logo shines through. At around 3:36 one of Ryan's eyes appears to turn yellow because he leans in front of the word "Wolverine"
I lost it when Ryan said 1961 for when Hugh was in People magazine's most beautiful people.😂 I've always wanted Hugh to do a Clint Eastwood biop because he reminded me of him. I must have picked up his Wolverine inspiration without realizing it.😮😅
what I like about Jackman is that he is so modest. when he turned 50 and people said "oh he doesn't seem to age" he postet a picture of himself sleeping, and the comment was like "when you want to know how old a person is, let his family take a picture of him while he is sleeping"
They did this and literally went right next door to do Hot Ones 😂😂
