This was my first JINJER song ever! I played it on repeat a million times in 2014 while going through a rough divorce. I would scream the lyrics in my head towards my ex wife. It helped me release a lot of unhealthy emotions I was experiencing at the time. Thank you for the reaction!
Baby Jinjer! 🤘 💙💛 From the '12 self released CD Inhale Don't Breathe. I have it along with all other CDs of the mighty Jinjer. Something is going to drop from them on Aug. 1st. Waiting with bated breath. Cheers Deb! 🍻
I discovered Jinjer in 2016. Inhale don’t breath, Cloud Factory and King of Everything were the three albums available at that time. Mostly groove metal and definitely my favorite album would be Cloud Factory. Scissors is a classic and this reaction was 🤌🏽.
This is an old song , and video. Still a 5 piece here. Song is on the 2nd EP "Inhale, Do Not Breathe" from 2012. You got to see their 2nd drummer Oleksandr Koziychuk, and Dmitriy Oksen on rhythm guitar. Now if you jump to the most recent album ,with the song "Disclosure" , you'll see Dmitriy in his next career ,as an actor in the video.
Jinjer reissued in 2013 their fist EP with Tati Inhale, Do Not Breathe with bonus tracks Hypocrites & Critics, Objects In Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear, Scissors (Live), Waltz (Live) & Destroy (Live) which is the only song from the previous singers EP O.I.M.A.C.T.T.A. The reason is because their label at the time The Leaders Records based in Greece misspelled the EP wrong with Don't instead of Do Not.
Great song! Love "Baby Jinjer!" Hope everyone saw the "August 1" post from the Official Jinjer account on X, not sure whether it's the drop date of the new album or a single from that album, but I'm sure it's one of those! Another great reaction! The progression of Jinjer is fun to see, they've always had a unique sound but it has become even more pronounced over time. As a "mature" band, I am very excited to see what this new album will sound like!
@@VocalCitizen I think you'll also enjoy Outlander when you get to it, it's from around the same time as Scissors, so you'll hear some similarities, but I've always thought I could hear some of Tati foreshadowing some future vocal sounds along with the classic baby jinjer sound! :)
I've got a strong feeling it's not gonna be the whole album dropping on 8/1. I'm guessing a single. Their official tour announcement says they'll be playing some new unreleased material when they tour the US in September and October. I'm guessing they don't release the whole album until after that tour is at least underway. But I could be wrong! 😜
I love Noah a lot. It's full chaotic dissonant Jinjer. The pre-chorus is one of my favorite parts of theirs. Another great one in that same vein is Pausing Death. LOVE that song!
This is not bad, but not very moving IMO. I always enjoy seeing a band in its earlier days....you can see the foundations here, but the band has evolved quite a bit from here. Tati's voice is significantly better now after years of experience and work honing her craft. For me though, the later arrival of Vlad is the most significant moment that propelled this band to another level. From hearing his feel added to older songs like in the Bad Water Live Video to his songwriting impact....first heard on Ape I believe....Vlad upped the game and the rest of the members all made that step too. I can hardly wait for the new album and looks like a new video tomorrow! Cheers.
If Jinjer's music had stayed like this, I never would have become a fan. Not that it's bad, it's just kind of "meh" for me. Tati's vocals have come a long way in virtually every respect, and so have their compositions, especially since Vlad joined (as you said). "Ape" is one of my favourites!
Tati has come a long way. Not that this is bad but her harsh vocals here are a lot like some of the other women doing harsh vocals now compared to what she does now. There aren't too many bands who have a song that early in their career that if they pulled it out, out of the blue at a concert pretty much everyone would not only know what it was instantly but would lose their minds hearing it in concert in 2024.
Yep once again Coder sees eye to eye with me. Tati has said that several times she has forgotten how to scream, and had to relearn from scratch. And each time it comes back differently! That's kinda insane. She said she liked one of the previous iterations better, but I can't agree with that. She clearly has much more range and control of the harsh vocals now. The highs are higher and the lows are lower. Of course false cord screaming has no real "pitch" but controlling the mouth shape gives perceived pitch, and she has mastered that now to a degree very few others can approach. This is almost like a monotone scream in comparison. I love it, but she's come a long way since then. The band as well. The compositions are much more engaging to me nowadays. This to me is a bit like listening to the first few Rush albums. It's raw and a bit simple by comparison to their later stuff, but I love it and sometimes it hits just right for my mood.
@@ericpeterson7512 Funny because it's like we are picking out vintage wines. Which year is best? So much talent it doesn't matter how she does it it sounds good.
This is my first time hearing Jinjer, and my first impression is that they owe royalties to Pantera. Everything but the vocals sounds like 1990. That's not a bad thing.
Baby jinjer is just as cool🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
This is true....
🤘🇺🇦❤️ Jinjer

It's on my calendar. I'm ready...
We (not the royal we...the spouse monkey and I) have to work on the 1st but will have downtime. Definitely keeping an eye out for whatever they drop.
Saaaaame!
Lovin' the Ghosts reference. I just said that to a dude in the shampoo aisle at Wally-world yesterday.
🙃
Old school Jinjer. You saw her with a drink and a cigarette. She never does warm ups before a show. She's a beast. ❤🤍💙
Yeah I noticed that...
hmmmm
Tatiana does warm-ups at soundchecks search Jinjer soundcheck you will find videos MetalGearShady has quite a few & Miss Jinjer has one.

Awesome.
I love old Jinjer, I have this one on most of my play lists.
Yep... going on my DOPE A$$ SH!T playlist for vehicular calisthenics.
Been waiting for the baby Jinjer songs. Good old grindy metalcore right here. 3 members the same as current lineup. Tatiana kills it and so do you 🤘

I also have a hunch about a multi-part song dealing with themes from the 19th century. Maybe time travel? Maybe steampunk?
It's funny that they put the date in a format that the US americans would not mistake with 8th of January 2024. 😂
Of course this was awesome!
