Thanks !!! I am a 41 year old woman doing an oil change on my 2014 civic for the 1st time! Gas prices right now in June 2022 are almost $5 bucks a gallon!
Never trust a man who needs 3 guesses to guess what size he needs! That and the explosion of oil because he wasn’t patient enough to do it slowly is cringe as hell.
Nice video! If I was to nit pick, I would suggest when you're putting a little oil on the seal you can hit the threads of the filter as well. Makes threading the filter a little easier. Also I like to have a big piece of cardboard under the pan just in case oil spills over.
Bro one thing is that you kept it real lol 😂. Nothing is fake . Unlike others do it like it’s nothing. That oil filter looks troublesome to reach hopefully I will able to get it out
Never turn a car on while on incline like that on Jack stands. Main reason the oil pump has to work harder to circulate the oil. Try a flat surface always.
@@AldenBuild an old rick I learnt, when bolts are that tight, just tighten a touch more. Once that 'seal' is broken, it's easier to undo. I use a 1/2" long handle 'crack' bar, breaker bar. Just apply constant force to budge the bolt The only other thing I do, is 1/2 fill the new filter with new oil. Priming it so to speak I was looking for a good video for this exact Honda, I really liked your effort Great job.

As a technician the oil drain plug torque is 29 foot pounds with a torque wrench on most Hondas.

Is it okay to leave the skid plate off bruh?
If you in a heavy rain & snowy/slush prone area probably best to keep the plate on.
