This guy isn’t a mechanic he’s a damn magician. He’s been doing this for a while to be that confident just throwing 400 sprockets washers and clips around and knowing he can put it back together. I was done when you took the front pump bolts off. I wasn’t going any further. lol. You deserve a damn metal for doing this type of work.
@@expressautotransmissiondav4207 that would be awesome. Also those snap ring grooves are not like that in all the drums. There is one that doesnt have the dead spot.
@@expressautotransmissiondav4207 are you going to machine the pump body and stator or just replace it. What kind of convertor do you put back in. Single billet, double, stock?
Really nicely it works great and feels perfect under power. We had some electrical gremlins after repair that we are working out currently, hopefully we'll get a video of cause and effect once we're done with that section.
I hate slosh boxes.... Not offering a manual in the newer trucks is a Damn shame... If anything a truck should be the last thing to be automatic only in my opinion... If you've ever worked with a manual truck, you know what I'm saying. It's better than an automatic for doing work honestly for every situation except for maybe stop go city traffic. And even then it's better if you know what you're doing and you're not a vagina
Well, you can think Mexican built torque converters in high running temperatures along with poor maintenance as to why those six Ladies are such garbage

Do you offer a built kit list for this project? Of all upgrades needed.
I counted 6 clutch packs on this one, must of miscounted on the last video I watched.
OMG,a Snap Press?
Yeah buddy
Do you offer any rebuilt 6L80’s for sale? I may need one for my 2016 Sierra...
Not typically I don't have the man power to keep them on the shelf. So unfortunately it's a case by case basis.
Great Videos!
Thank you
Was that diarrhea coming out of that pan?
Do you have a special set of bushing drivers that step the bushings down for this unit
I don't but if you want I can do a bushing video with all my driver's to go over what I use and how I do it
