He definitely has charisma in connecting with the training group. Nice person inside and outside of the training space. Once you get him with the fellow GM's, it's all laughs and jokes.
Based off what we observed, GM Rene scaffolds the curriculum so it builds off easily for people to follow. Not too much fancy moves, and as the name goes "abaniko tres puntas" literally translates to fan and three points.

Понятно, что здесь палка - вынужденная замена клинка, но и для клинка нужна крепкая рука. Да и где сейчас с клинком будешь ходить, это незаконно... Тем не менее, видео интересное. Good stuff, from the presentation it look GM Rene does a great job of breaking things down to a 1, 2, and 3 beat movements.
We noticed that too, he doesn't go off on tangents or going into to many variations at once. Gives you enough to train and then builds off it.
