His voice is open and clear and in the hall would sound great!!. It sounds great even on computer speakers. I am a tenor and would love to have technique like this.
If you watch his recent lesson video on YT with Jack LiVigni, you'll see a lot of what makes a technique like this. It's mostly in Italian, but the posture and body coordination you'll see in the video transcend any language.
Tu non sei come il tenore considerato seconda migliore in tutto il mondo, era chiaro che il primo Carusso, ma avere il coraggio di provare, congratulazioni
Good instrument. He manages to sing even while being constricted and nasal. He lifts the upper chest a bit and tenses the shoulders. Getting rid of these things would have drastically improved his voice. The tongue is also too forward.
And who are you, Mr Enrico Caruso re-born? You have the nerve to pretend to give Maestro Fisichella lessons in singing! The only tongue that's too forward is yours -you should have kept it back, instead of allowing it to utter such rubbish. "He lifts the upper chest a bit" -he does that on purpose, you pedant! You may learn why he does it if you watch some of Fisichella's singing lessons which are on UA-cam.
pericofantasias Seriously? Name calling? What is this....elementary school? And who are you? I did not say he is a bad singer. He was great, but he wasn't perfection personified. No one is. The fact is he is constricted and there are specific things that cause that. If he would have addressed them he would have improved. It is really basic. All singers can improve. He is more constricted than Gigli, Caruso and so on. The better singers are less constricted, but no one had 0% constriction. Whether you are educated in any of this is does not determine the reality of it. The name calling is really immature.
Yes, he sounds a little constricted and restricted, but I think his interpretation is right. This is the way O sole mio should be sung. Unfortunately, there is no really appealing version of this Neapolitan song on UA-cam.
Cherubim He doesn't sound constricted. You guys don't know what you are talking about. Maestroo Fisichella is a legendary Tenor and one of the most amazing tenors in the history of Opera.
bravo Salvatore !!!!
THIS is what a lyric tenor is supposed to sound like. Periodt.
real Sicily, pure sunshine, natural produce from Italy. Glorious!!!
Fisichella one of my favourites
Great Sicilian tenor!
Geez and the dude was in his 50’s! Just incredible

He teaches, you can reach him from his website.

Um tom abaixo do original
Altro nome da aggiungere ai grandi n

Do Chinese people have a freedom to sing such a song?
Ну так))
Italians do it better :D
the singer is perfect but the orchestra isn't
Pas très chaleureux le public !

He sounds like Placido Domingo.
No, he doesn't.
Joke?
that is not a compliment at all...he is much better voice timber than any of so called 3 tenors.

But even Giuseppe di Stefano sounded constricted.

He is a great, but not a lyric tenor
